ICC Women's World Cup - Final

Australia Women v West Indies Women

Australia Women won by 114 runs

9.6

Taylor to Lanning, OUT, caught at mid-off! Lanning tried to repeat her shot but this time she did not clear the infield, she came down the pitch and hit it straight to Kyshona Knight

MM Lanning c Kyshona A Knight b Taylor 31 (38m 41b 6x4 0x6) SR: 75.60

Australia Women 52/1   RL Haynes 16* (22b 2x4)   SR Taylor 2-0-10-1

24.6

Quintyne to Haynes, OUT, caught at midwicket! Haynes tried to pull the ball over the infield but the pace was so slow that she only managed to lob it over midwicket. The fielder ran back and took the catch as the ball dropped over her head. Kyshona judged that very well.

RL Haynes c Kycia A Knight b Quintyne 52 (89m 74b 6x4 0x6) SR: 70.27

Australia Women 116/2   JE Cameron 27* (38b 3x4)   SL Quintyne 7-1-20-1

27.5

Smartt to Blackwell, OUT, caught behind! Blackwell began to come forward to a good length ball outside off and then stopped and opened the face to try and steer towards third man, she got a faint edge through to Aguilleira, who took a straightforward catch. Smartt's second spell has begun well for West Indies.

AJ Blackwell c †Aguilleira b Smartt 3 (12m 9b 0x4 0x6) SR: 33.33

Australia Women 126/3   JE Cameron 34* (46b 4x4)   TD Smartt 3.5-0-24-1

35.5

Daley to Cameron, OUT, that is a lucky, lucky wicket for West Indies! The ball was fairly rubbish, a thigh high full toss. Cameron was on the front foot and she smashed it hard, but her placement was off because she hit it straight to Kyshona Knight on the deep midwicket boundary. Knight barely had to move.

JE Cameron c Kyshona A Knight b Daley 75 (96m 76b 8x4 2x6) SR: 98.68

Australia Women 181/4   LC Sthalekar 12* (19b 1x4)   SF Daley 8.5-0-32-1

37.1

Quintyne to Sthalekar, OUT, caught at square leg! Sthalekar's swept the ball in the air and Campbelle had to move a few metres to her right to catch it at waist height

LC Sthalekar c Campbelle b Quintyne 12 (41m 20b 1x4 0x6) SR: 60.00

Australia Women 187/5   SJ Coyte 5* (7b 1x4)   SL Quintyne 8.1-1-23-2

39.2

Quintyne to Coyte, OUT, caught at mid-on! Coyte tried to hit down the ground but the slowness of the ball gave her nothing to work with. She lobbed it straight to Daley. West Indies have recovered a lot of lost ground during the batting Powerplay.

SJ Coyte c Daley b Quintyne 7 (13m 12b 1x4 0x6) SR: 58.33

Australia Women 190/6   JM Fields 1* (8b)   SL Quintyne 9.2-1-25-3

43.2

Mohammed to Osborne, OUT, caught at mid-on! Very similar to the Coyte dismissal. Osborne came forward and tried to clear mid-on, she wasn't to the pitch of the ball and she had no pace to use. She hit it straight to Quintyne

EA Osborne c Quintyne b Mohammed 7 (14m 12b 0x4 0x6) SR: 58.33

Australia Women 209/7   JM Fields 12* (20b 1x4)   A Mohammed 7.2-0-37-1
