6.4 to AA Barot, fullish on the pads, and he's flicked it straight to square leg! Barot checked his shot, possibly wary of the ball swinging and taking his leading edge, and all that did was cause it to pop up off the face of the bat, and Iyer stretches his arms to catch it over his left shoulder. A full-blooded flick would have probably been a safe shot to play, considering the line. 22/1
10.5 to CA Pujara, gone! That is an uncharacteristically loose shot from Pujara. Goes hard at the drive to a ball in the corridor. It wasn't full enough for the drive, and it shapes away just a touch to take a thick edge that the second slip fielder takes near his left hip. 36/3
35.3 to JN Shah, Kulkarni strikes early in the session, and Jaydev Shah has to depart. Back of a length, close to off stump, and Jaydev's back foot simply does not go across to get behind the line - it's been a weakness right through this innings. A nervy poke, and an edge through to the keeper. 77/5
84.4 to AV Vasavada, and there's the wicket! Beautiful delivery from Kulkarni, threatens to swing into off stump but holds its line after pitching, and he closes his bat face slightly while defending, and gets a thick edge to second slip. 192/8
92.3 to PN Mankad, five-for! that's a good ball, given that Mankad has been looking to go for his shots. Bowled him the full, wide tempter, and it wasn't quite a half-volley. Mankad goes for the full-blooded cover drive and the outswing finds his edge to second slip. 235/9
21.248934.179412210
7.1 to SD Jogiyani, beauty, and Saurashtra are two down/ Once again, Jogiyani absolutely had to play at this, given the angle in towards off stump. It left him and kissed the edge of his defensive bat through to the keeper. Once again, Jogiyani's front-foot stride is found wanting. He was late coming forward, and only came half-forward in the end. 22/2
48.6 to CS Jani, back of a length outside off, and this time Jani doesn't leave. Goes for the cut, there's a bit of extra bounce and away movement, and he can only top-edge to the keeper. 95/6
93.2 to JD Unadkat, length ball outside off, and Unadkat goes for the slog over midwicket. Once again he gets a thick top edge, and this time it carries all the way to third man, who only has to run a short distance to his left to take a simple catch. 235/10
24114211.751194000
51.6 to DS Punia, and another. That isn't full enough to drive, and Punia throws his hands at the ball, far from his body, and gets a thick edge to second slip. 108/7
1964112.15903000
20.2 to SP Jackson, another! That wasn't full enough for the cover drive, and it swings away and slices off the face of the bat, goes through to gully at shoulder height. 42/4

0.2 to AA Herwadkar, gone, Unadkat remains Saurashtra's hero of the morning! Needless shot from Herwadkar, looking for a drive on the up to a fifth-stump delivery, and it curls away from him to take the edge and carry through to third slip at shoulder height. 0/1
6.2 to BJ Thakkar, bowled him! The perfect left-arm quick's delivery. Brings Thakkar forward, makes him play for the angle across, and swings in through the gate to hit middle and off stump. 23/2
66.6 to Iqbal Abdulla, bowled him! Excellent length on a fourth-stump line, froze Abdulla's feet, and got it to nip back in just a touch to beat the inside edge of his defensive bat and knock back off stump. 268/9
82.2 to SD Lad, length ball outside off, goes for the big shot and miscues it, goes high in the air over the mid-on region and the long-on fielder, Jackson, runs in and takes a fairly simple catch. 371/10
1527334.865912100
59.5 to AM Nayar, very full again, this one's on a middle-stump line, and Nayar plays across it and misses. Hits him low on the front pad, and that's given out immediately. Nayar looks disappointed that he's been given out. Is there a bit of inside-edge on it? Replays suggest there was.. 235/6
63.3 to DS Kulkarni, and the change of angle works immediately! Super delivery, classic left-arm swing bowler's dismissal, curls in through the gate as Kulkarni plays for the angle across, not coming fully forward in defence, and crashes into middle and off stumps. 250/7
63.4 to SN Thakur, and another! That's slanted full and wide and Thakur chases at it a long way from his body. Thick edge and second slip, falling to his right, doesn't catch it, but manages to deflect it straight to Pujara at first slip. 250/8
301806.00102001
24410714.4510413209
48.2 to SA Yadav, got him! Length ball in the corridor, and Yadav has a poke at it. Extra bounce, a bit of movement away, and Punia finds the high part of the outside edge, simple catch to Pujara, who falls to his left at first slip and clutches it to his chest. 205/5
1524823.20706023
41.6 to SS Iyer, full outside off, and Iyer's gone. Or is he? Stepped out of his crease to this - he did that the previous ball as well - and went for the big flat-bat drive. Ends up hitting in the air, straight to the man at mid-off. They're checking for no-ball, though. Is Jani's heel behind the crease? It looks desperately tight. One frame shows the heel behind the line, but it's not entirely clear if it's landed. Next frame shows the heel having landed definitely, but is marginally over the line. It's given out.. 175/3
45.6 to AP Tare, what a catch! For once, a good length ball close to off stump, and he gets a tiny bit of nibble away. Tare looks to drive through mid-on, his bat coming down at an angle, and Vasavada flings himself to his left from second slip to grab the ball in front of first slip. 195/4

6.2 to SD Jogiyani, Kulkarni strikes. Good length and outside off, Jogiyani falls to a loose stroke. He looks to guide it down to third man, poor option, especially with a strong three-man cordon in place. He only jabs it to Thakkar at third slip. The ball bobbles out, but he clutches it against his chest and secures it on the rebound. 15/2
41.6 to PN Mankad, back of a length outside off, and Saurashtra are seven down. Went for the angled-bat punch, and second slip takes a good low catch. 91/7
1132121.90574000
3.4 to AA Barot, nips back in sharply, and it's given! Came forward to defend, his pad ended up coming in the way of his bat. The replays show the ball striking pad just in front of, or just outside off stump, and maybe the umpire reckoned he wasn't really offering a shot, given the bat was tucked in behind the pad. 13/1
13.4 to AV Vasavada, gone! This was just a bit fuller, and angled in a touch closer to off stump. Vasavada goes for the drive, a long way in front of his body, and nicks a shoulder-high catch to third slip. 24/3
13.212651.95632010
34.1 to CA Pujara, got him, that's the big wicket! Pujara was just switching gears in that familiar manner after playing himself in resolutely, and Thakur produces a lifter on off stump, straightens, squares him up, and pops up off the shoulder of the bat to gully. 67/5
38.6 to JN Shah, this was bound to happen. He kept playing away from his body, and Thakur slides one across into the corridor on a good length, nowhere near full enough to drive, and he goes at it with an angled bat, far out in front of his body, and finally nicks one. 86/6
42.1 to CS Jani, Huge, huge appeal, and he's given out caught behind. Left him from a good length outside off, he poked at it away from his body, and Thakur kept appealing, once, twice, seven times, his voice growing hoarser with each plea, and finally the umpire gave it out. Will have to see another replay to see if there was an edge on that. I'm not sure there was. Can't say for sure, but I don't think he edged that.. 91/8
44.4 to DS Punia, bouncer, top-edges the pull from over his shoulder, and the ball lobs high in the air and Tare only has to take a couple of steps to his right to take the simplest of catches. 102/9
48.2 to HR Rathod, and he's done it! Five-for for Thakur, slips the yorker under the left-hander's bat and clips off stump. 115/10
812613.25374000
25.6 to SP Jackson, Nayar strikes! This time Jackson is drawn to playing at one that seams away just a touch in the corridor, extra bounce as well, and he gets a nick through to the keeper. 48/4
