Briggs to Guptill, FOUR, flighted on middle and off, Guptill skips out and punches forcefully between the bowler and mid-on for the first boundary

Briggs to Guptill, no run, missed run-out chance! Guptill skewed a drive towards cover-point and went charging down the crease, the ball went straight to Jos Buttler but he chose to throw to the bowler's end, where Rob Nicol was safely back

Briggs to Franklin, 1 run, stays round the wicket to the left hander, outside off stump and Franklin works down to long on

Briggs to Taylor, no run, nicely bowled, tight on off stump, Taylor defends back to the bowler...very neat over from Briggs

New Zealand 68/4   DR Briggs 3-0-20-1

Briggs to Franklin, no run, round the wicket, on leg stump, worked straight to midwicket

Briggs to Franklin, SIX, releases some of the pressure, played the percentages as he picked this up over midwicket...was a good, clean, swing of the bat

Briggs to Franklin, 2 runs, flatter on the leg stump, flicked firmly into the deep and Buttler can't stop the second

Briggs to Franklin, 2 runs, goes much fuller, right at Franklin's toes, and he works it square through the leg side and Buttler, again, can't stop the second

Briggs to Franklin, FOUR, tough chance, perhaps that's harsh because Franklin comes down the pitch and crunches this back in Briggs' direction and it was more self preservation than an attempt to catch it as it whistles to the boundary

Briggs to Franklin, 2 runs, and that's another brace to end the over as he works through the leg side...much better over for New Zealand and very smartly played by Franklin

New Zealand 96/4   DR Briggs 4-0-36-1
