Upright, elegant and tall, Eric Szwarczynski has all the attributes of a classic opening batsman. Whether his prosaic style can translate to success in Asian conditions is more of a worry for Netherlands. He possesses none of the big-hitting power needed to clear the ropes during the Powerplay overs but will hope to be the anchor for the rest to form around.
