Another player to have taken the overseas route to Ireland, Alex Cusack was born in Brisbane before moving to the Emerald Isle. A carpenter by trade he has performed a few Mr Fix It roles for his team over an international career that started in 2007 following Ireland's successful World Cup campaign in West Indies. A nagging medium-pacer and handy batsman he is now an established member of the team, playing an important role in maintaining Ireland as one of the leading Associate nations.
