Devendra Bishoo is an attacking legspinner who has done superbly in all three forms of the game in the West Indian domestic circuit. He has good control over his leg-break, though he doesn't use the googly much. Bishoo played his first one-day game for Guyana in October 2009, but quickly became a contender for the West Indies team, and was drafted into the World Cup squad as a replacement for the injured Dwayne Bravo.
