On the books at Surrey, Seren Waters is Kenya's best young batsman in terms of technique and potential, perhaps, sadly, a reflection of the fact he honed his game in England at Cranleigh School. He has not played more because of his continuing education in England, and he has also fallen foul of occasional bouts of selectoral insularity when they have opted to ignore anyone not playing and living in Kenya.
Strengths
His slim build belies his strength, particularly through the covers and off his legs. A useful, if very underused, legspinner.
