Khurram Chohan has established himself as Canada's fist-choice opening bowler. He bowls at a nippy medium-pace and in his younger years playing first-class cricket in Pakistan, he was said to be genuinely quick. His fitness levels are not always where they should be and he can flag after a hostile opening burst with the ball. Chohan is an attacking bowler, more concerned with taking wickets than keeping a lid on proceedings. He can bat a bit too, though Canada tends to keep him much lower in the order than his abilities merit.

His first couple of overs are quite pacy, and he is a wicket-taker.
