Profile

Berend Westdijk is a 25-year-old seamer who has only played three first-class matches and is the only uncapped member of Netherlands' squad. He came up by playing in the under-19s and under-23s for Netherlands. It is a measure of the promise he showed those three games - taking 10 wickets - that he has was drafted into the 15-man squad. His three outings in List A cricket were less promising, though, as he conceded 74 runs from seven overs at 9.25 an over. He is a true No. 11.

Strengths

Has plenty of hustle and prepared to bowl the tough overs. Could be used as a shock bowler to try and buy wickets.
