ICC Cricket World Cup - 32nd match, Group B

Bangladesh v Netherlands

Bangladesh won by 6 wickets (with 52 balls remaining)

Bangladesh run out to wild cheers. Shakib looks very serious and business-like. Netherlands openers walk out. All set to go in Chittagong.

Md. Shamsul Huda: "think that this is the best squad for Bd side in this world cup mission. And Bangladesh will win against Netherlands comfortably."

Derrick: "I feel BD should have gone with the same side that won against Eng, unless there were some injury issues."

While we wait for the start, you could check out our You Tube channel and our Twitter handle @ESPNcricinfo. Quite a rage they are.

9.20 am Time for the national anthems. Netherlands' is on first. Time for Amar Sonar Bangla.

Will Netherlands be able to finally pull off the upset they threatened to do so against England, and to some extent, against India? What do you think?

9 am: Toss Netherlands win it and will bat first. "Hopefully, we can put some runs on the board. We know what we are going to come up against today, and have practised for these conditions." Adeel Raja, the offspinner, gets his first game of the tournament. Lots of changes today, hope your Fantasy XIs are being updated too.

Shakib: "We would have bowled first because of the early morning moisture. Shahriar Nafees and Shuvo are in for Raqibul and Naeem Islam."

8.55 am: Pitch report Sunil Gavaskar says that there is moisture on the surface, and there will be help for seamers early on. The moisture will dry out as the day progresses, and the side that wins the toss would want to field first. Overall, a batting surface, with some turn for the spinners later on. Bangladesh are considering playing three left-arm spinners, three. What do you think the playing XIs could be?

Shakib Al Hasan and his men have seen the best and worst of the passionate Bangladeshi fan during this tournament. How huge is it for this nation to be standing on the verge of making the quarterfinals? And how huge is the innings that launched them on to the world stage, 14 years ago? Sid Monga has more on Akram Khan's monumental knock against Netherlands in the ICC Trophy.

Sid Talya, who will be joining me on commentary later, thinks that Bangladesh's army of spinners will be crucial, in his preview. This is the same ground on which the home spinners suffocated England, and Netherlands have never faced such a battery of slow bowlers in conditions that suit them.

Hello and welcome to our coverage of the game between Bangladesh and Netherlands in Chittagong. After they came back from the dead against England, the hosts have a real chance of making the quarterfinals. Today is a must-win match for them, and one in which they would think they are favourites.

Adeel Raja run out 0 (17m 5b 0x4 0x6) SR: 0.00

Netherlands knew what was coming, but could not do anything to get away. 29 overs of left-arm spin for 100 runs, and five wickets. And this after Shafiul Islam proved to be near-unplayable at the start, darting the new ball all around, extremely unfortunate to not get even one wicket. Not for the first time, ten Doeschate was left to do the repair job, but Netherlands managed four run-outs, and Tendo was left stranded. Bangladesh fielded sharply overall, despite some dropped catches, and will come out to chase the small total in 30 minutes. Check out the Player Rater meanwhile, and also try the Bracket Predictor. Sid Talya will take you through the chase. That will be all from me, Abhishek Purohit. See you folks around. Keep the comments coming.
