21.3

Saeed Ajmal to Chanderpaul, no run, doosra, Chanders gets into all kinds of trouble. He plays for the offie and mistimes and mis-places the cut. Straight to slip and then Chanders wanders out of the crease, and is close to being run out

21.4

21.6

Saeed Ajmal to Chanderpaul, no run, sharp offie on leg stump, Chanders cautiously defends from the crease

West Indies 52/3   Saeed Ajmal 3-0-6-0

23.1

Saeed Ajmal to Sarwan, 2 runs, finally some width from Ajmal, Sarwan cashes in with a well-timed cut. Riaz does well sweeping to tumble as cut off the four.

23.2

Saeed Ajmal to Sarwan, no run, slower and loopier on the off stump line, defended into the off side

23.3

Saeed Ajmal to Sarwan, no run, Sarwan nearly, again, falls for the doosra. Back of a length outside off, and extra bounce as it holds its line. Sarwan ends up inside edging a forceful square drive and it goes close to the stumps.

West Indies 58/3   Saeed Ajmal 4-0-9-0

West Indies 67/4   Saeed Ajmal 5-0-16-0

27.1

Saeed Ajmal to Sammy, no run, dropped by Younis at slip. Not the easiest take. Offie lands on off and comes in, Sammy gets a leading edge that goes very fine and Younis dives to his left, gets his hand to it, but can't hold on.

27.2

Saeed Ajmal to Sammy, 1 wide, slides one down the leg side. I wonder why. Just bowl straight, there are wickets to be had.

27.2

Saeed Ajmal to Sammy, OUT, just like that. The West Indian captain has no answer to a delightful doosra that makes him look like a novie. Ajmal drifts it in towards off and then gets it to bite and nip away from a length. Sammy pokes away from the crease, completely befuddled by the brilliance of the ball and is struck on the crease, in front of middle. The umpire's finger went up almost before Pakistan appealed.

DJG Sammy lbw b Saeed Ajmal 1 (3m 3b 0x4 0x6) SR: 33.33

27.3

Saeed Ajmal to Bishoo, no run, aha, another doosra, Bishoo thinks its going to be an offie and leaves. Not very far from the stumps.

27.4

Saeed Ajmal to Bishoo, no run, he pokes the second ball away to the off side

27.5

Saeed Ajmal to Bishoo, OUT, West Indies are being Pakistunned here. Or should I say Paki-spun. Ajmal slips in another doosra from round the wicket. Bishoo did most things right, he leaned as far out as possible to cover the line and smother the spin. Clearly he wasn't picking the turn, but on this occasion, he did not pick the flight either. It landed a few inches short of his front foot and whizzed through the bat-pad gap to hit the stumps.

D Bishoo b Saeed Ajmal 0 (3m 3b 0x4 0x6) SR: 0.00

27.6

Saeed Ajmal to Roach, no run, only Roach will know how he managed to survive this ball. Another doosra from over the wicket, he gropes from the crease in an attempt to cover the line and it buzzes past the outside edge

29.4

29.5

Saeed Ajmal to Chanderpaul, no run, lands on a length around off and straightens, Chanders opens the face and guides towards point

29.6

31.3

Saeed Ajmal to Chanderpaul, no run

31.4

Saeed Ajmal to Chanderpaul, no run, top stuff from Ajmal, Chanders is left groping for a doosra, clueless as to what the ball is doing. It goes off the pad to the right of slip

31.5

Saeed Ajmal to Chanderpaul, 1 run, works a delivery from the leg stump to the leg side for a single

31.6

Saeed Ajmal to Roach, no run, another doosra. This is Shane Warne bowling with an offie's action. Roach pushes forward, misses it, gets squared up and smiles sheepishly.

West Indies 81/8   Saeed Ajmal 8-1-18-2
