17.6 to Sami Aslam, caught at second slip! The change of ends has worked for Southee. He's been on target in these last two overs. Aslam stays in his crease and pokes at a good length ball that angles away from him, Southee has been testing him with ones that bend back in but this one did not. The edge flew through at comfortable height to the debutant Jeet Raval. Pakistan two down. 53/2
39.2 to Sarfaraz Ahmed, caught at gully! Southee keeps probing outside off, shaping the ball away from the right-hander after angling in from over the wicket. The one pitches short of a length and there's width too outside off, drawing Sarfraz into playing the cut away from his body. The ball moves away from the right-hander though and induces the edge to Todd Astle, who had dropped one earlier in that position. He does not drop this.. 101/6
1653922.43795000
46.1 to Mohammad Amir, and he's bowled him first ball! Boult's first wicket today! That ball angled into the left-hander from over the wicket, pitched on a length on middle stump and shaped away. Amir played it off the back foot, trying to defend, leaving middle and off exposed. Boult beat the outside edge and clattered the stumps. Amir has been on the happier end of that dismissal so many times. 114/7
54.5 to Misbah-ul-Haq, caught at mid-off! Misbah decided it was time to get as many runs as possible and he slogged, aiming towards the leg side. He got a leading edge though and the ball went high in the air. Williamson ran backwards towards his right from mid off and took the catch. 129/9
15.554162.58763000
12.3 to Azhar Ali, and the debutant has his first wicket! The off stump has been uprooted! After moving the first two balls away a touch, de Grandhomme pitches this on a good length around outside and draws Azhar forward into the drive. This time though, the ball seamed in off the pitch, through the gap between bat and pad and crashed into the stumps. After it beat the bat the ball was headed towards middle stump but then seemed to move away to hit off. Might have brushed the back pad. 31/1
18.6 to Babar Azam, three down! Colin de Grandhomme gives Azam a carrot, pitching it slightly fuller outside off, inviting the drive. Babar Azam bit, moving forward and going hard at the ball, driving away from his body. the thick edge is caught easily by Taylor at first slip. Pakistan's solid start is in pieces.. 53/3
20.6 to Younis Khan, de Grandhomme is having a ripping debut! That's his third! Another carrot outside off - full and swinging away - and Younis chases it with a flashy cover drive. He didn't move his feet and had to reach for the ball. Thick edge that flies quickly to Raval at second slip. That's his second catch on debut. Younis will watch those replays and tell himself he could have so easily let that ball go. 56/4
34.4 to Asad Shafiq, de Grandhomme has four! And Raval has taken his third catch! The ball was full outside off and swinging away, not as wide as the previous one though so Shafiq was drawn into a poke away from his body. The edge was taken at second slip. 88/5
53.5 to Sohail Khan, he does have five-for on debut! Well played Colin de Grandhomme! His fifth wicket is caught at midwicket. A soft dismissal. Ball didn't do anything special, Sohail played a bit early and chipped it straight to Latham.. 129/8
55.5 to Rahat Ali, caught behind! De Grandhomme has six on debut and those are the best figures on debut for New Zealand! Nips the ball away from the right-hander from a length and Rahat has a poke at it, Watling catches the edge. 133/10

4.3 to TWM Latham, lbw! given on the field by umpire S Ravi and Latham reviews immediately. Inside edge, or impact outside off? Amir pitched the ball on a good length outside off and nipped it back into the left-hander. Latham came forward to defend with bat very close to front pad. Was it pad first? I think so. Just about. Was the impact in line with the stumps? It was umpire's call! Gone. Amir has struck. Latham reviewed because he thought he got bat on it, and he did, but it hit the pad first. Interesting that the umpire did not ask for the Hot Spot before giving the decision, but I suppose the visuals were clear enough. 6/1
39.3 to JA Raval, they've caught one in the slips off Amir! He pitched it on a great length outside off and got the ball to straighten a touch off the pitch. Raval was caught on the crease as he prodded at it with no real footwork, the outside edge flew straight and fast to Sami Aslam at first slip. Top start for Pakistan this morning. 109/5
56.5 to TG Southee, caught behind! Six down this morning. Amir went around the wicket and bowled a short of a length ball outside off, Southee backed away towards the leg side and slashed at the ball. Sarfraz took a simple catch. 177/9
2257833.5410014000
9.1 to KS Williamson, caught at first slip! Williamson falls cheaply! The ball was not short enough or wide enough to punch off the back foot through cover. Williamson played with hard hands and was cramped for room, the edge flew quickly to first slip where Sami Aslam took a sharp catch at head height. 15/2
38.2 to HM Nicholls, given lbw! Sohail hit a good length on a wicket to wicket line, Nicholls pressed forward to defend with a straight bat but played down the wrong line. Did Sohail get the ball to nip back a touch? Sohail beat the inside edge and hit the back leg. Nicholls had a word with Raval and decided not to review. Height might have been the only issue. Looked close. Ball tracking indicates it would have clipped the top of off stump. 105/4
48.6 to C de Grandhomme, it hasn't come off this time! After getting a short of a length ball pulled, Sohail bangs it in shorter, gets the ball higher. de Grandhomme goes for it of course, and hooks off the front foot. This time he gets a top edge that goes high in the air, Rahat Ali comes running in from long leg and takes the catch. Good pace from Sohail. 146/6
15.526243.91689100
16.4 to LRPL Taylor, caught behind down the leg side! Taylor walks so there must have been glove on it. Top catch from Sarfraz. Short of a length ball down the leg side, Taylor tries to glance but the ball grazes his glove and goes rather wide of the keeper, Sarfraz dives a long way to his left and pulls off an acrobatic catch. 40/3
49.5 to TD Astle, caught at third slip! The angle works for Rahat. Astle is crease-bound as he fends at a good length ball that pitches in line with the stumps and goes away, thick edge taken by Shafiq to his left, sharp catch. 146/7
53.6 to BJ Watling, caught at second slip! Pakistan have picked up a fifth wicket this morning. Watling prodded at a short of a length delivery angling across him just outside off and edged to Younis, who caught it while moving to his left. 171/8
59.5 to N Wagner, Wagner goes after Rahat again but this time he picks out deep square leg with the pull shot, New Zealand have lost seven wickets this morning and are all out with a lead of 67. A very handy advantage. Rahat recovered from a poor show last evening by taking three this morning. 200/10

58.3 to Azhar Ali, bowled him! Boult has just taken a good catch with the sun in his eyes to dismiss Misbah and now he draws the false shot from Azhar! He bowled it full outside off, inviting the drive. Azhar went for it uncharacteristically and dragged it back on to off stump. He batted more than four hours for 31 runs but Pakistan in deep trouble now. 93/5
60.2 to Sarfaraz Ahmed, that is some yorker and off stump has been uprooted with leg and middle still standing with the bail on top. The ball slanted across the right-hander from over the wicket before swinging back in, it then seemed to seam away off the pitch very late, beating the outside edge of the bat as Sarfraz brought it across the line, and cannon into off stump. I'll need another look at that. Sensational ball. It was not quite a yorker, it pitched just enough in front of him to seam away. 95/6
62.2 to Mohammad Amir, caught in the gully! Boult has his third. The ball was full outside off and Amir had a drive at it from his crease, the outside edge flew straight to Astle and Pakistan are seven down with a lead of only 38. That ball travelled quickly to Astle so it was a sharp catch. Amir's shot was loose, playing well away from his body. 105/7
23.4105332.231186100
57.6 to Misbah-ul-Haq, what a rush of blood from Misbah!Six runs off the previous two balls and Southee gives him the bouncer from over the wicket, Misbah responds with the hook and gets a top edge. Boult is waiting on the long-leg boundary to catch the Pakistan captain. Pakistan 93 for 4, effectively 26 for 4. 93/4
72.6 to Sohail Khan, caught at a rather strange position! Southee gave Sohail the short ball and the batsman pulled flat and in the air, Colin de Grandhomme was stationed at backward square leg, but not in the regular position and not back on the boundary either. Somewhere in between in terms of depth and well behind square too. The ball went straight at him and New Zealand will be relieved. So wickets, runs and now a catch for the debutant. 158/8
78.4 to Rahat Ali, caught at short leg, Southee bowled a really full ball on leg stump, Rahat went really deep into his crease to defend and ended up chipping the ball straight at Latham, as simple a catch as you can hope to get at short leg. Pakistan all out with a lead of 104, they added 42 this morning. 171/10
1442311.64702000
17.6 to Sami Aslam, caught behind! Aslam resistance is over and it's the debutant de Grandhomme making the breakthrough with his seventh wicket of the match! The ball was on a good length outside off and it held its line a bit off the pitch. Aslam was drawn into a half-hearted poke away from his body and edged to Watling. Aslam didn't need to play at that, he hasn't been playing at balls like that. A slip in concentration costs him his wicket. 21/1
2063431.70993000
40.5 to Babar Azam, caught down the leg side, Wagner's short ball barrage works again and he has his 100th Test wicket! Wagner was hustling Azam with a series of short of a length balls directed at the ribs and Azam got inside the line of this one to fend behind square. He got glove on it and Watling caught it quite easily moving to his left. Pakistan two down and still trail by nine runs. The ball made contact with the gloves a fair but away from the body but Azam had to play because of Wagner's angle into his body. 58/2
44.3 to Younis Khan, Wagner is breaking Pakistan here with his relentless short stuff! Sensational ball. Sensational. It rears sharply from short of a length around leg stump, rising at Younis' throat, forcing him to jump back and fend with his gloves thrust out. the ball grazes them on its way through to Watling. Terrific bowling. Younis was moving towards the off a little because Wagner's previous balls were a little on the leg side, but this one was coming right at him. 64/3
75.6 to Asad Shafiq, a smashing pull and a smashing catch by the debutant Jeet Raval! Wagner ran in and sent down another short of a length ball, Shafiq laid into it, pulling hard and flat and in the air. Raval was at deep midwicket but the ball was never going to carry to him. He ran at a fast pace and dived forward at full length to catch the ball just before it hit the grass. Superb effort. 166/9
