Chandigarh Lions v Hyderabad Heroes

Hyderabad Heroes won by 9 wickets (with 10 balls remaining)

2.00 pm: It's a hot afternoon in Gurgaon and the players have just taken the field. Steve Rixon's got a sweat band around his head and is drinking plenty of water. The dug-outs are in the sun so there's no respite for the players who aren't playing either.

Lou Vincent and Sarabjit Singh are opening the innings for Chandigarh. Abdul Razzaq has the new ball for Hyderabad. He opens the batting for them as well.

1.30 pm Hello and welcome to Cricinfo's coverage of the 19th match of the Indian Cricket League between Hyderabad Heroes and Chandigarh Lions in Gurgaon. Today's a super Sunday so there's the 20th as well later in the evening.

Chandigarh are placed fourth in the league at the moment, having won both their games. Hyderabad, on the other hand, are placed sixth and are in the bottom half of the points table. They've won two out of three games. Read the preview for more about the game.

Two former New Zealand team-mates, Chris Carins and Chris Harris, are at the toss. Cairns, the Chandigarh captain, has won and they will bat. This is the first game at the Tau Devi Lal Stadium this season and Pat Symcox expected the pitch to turn and bit.

Mathew Elliot, the Chandigarh opener, has had to return to Australia because of an injury. He's been replaced by Chetan Sharma. Harris said he would have batted as well but isn't too fussed about chasing.
