3.2

Sreesanth to How, OUT, given out caught-behind, fullish delivery outside off, How drove at it inside the line, it moved away just a hint right at the last moment, a faint nick and Nigel Llong, the umpire, had no doubts whatsoever, India strike early

JM How c †Saha b Sreesanth 5 (15m 13b 1x4 0x6) SR: 38.46

New Zealand 14/1   MJ Guptill 8* (7b 2x4)   S Sreesanth 1.2-0-5-1
16.1

Patel to Williamson, OUT, it's bowled him, nipped back in and got him through the gate, landed on a good length, Williamson was drawn forward and he tried to drive it on the up, missed and it came back in to knock off the bail on the off stump, superb stuff

KS Williamson b Patel 29 (56m 46b 4x4 0x6) SR: 63.04

New Zealand 64/2   MJ Guptill 28* (38b 2x4)   MM Patel 3.1-0-9-1
24.1

Pathan to Taylor, OUT, and he strikes immediately, pitched up and out comes the slog-sweep, it's clubbed hard but straight into the hands of deep midwicket where Kohli takes it comfortably, that dropped chance didn't really cost much in the end

LRPL Taylor c Kohli b Pathan 15 (29m 23b 0x4 1x6) SR: 65.21

New Zealand 96/3   MJ Guptill 41* (63b 3x4)   YK Pathan 0.1-0-0-1
36.4

Ashwin to Guptill, OUT, given out caught-behind by Hazare, fires a carrom ball on the off stump and it goes the other way, Guptill tries to crash that through the line, and Saha clasps it, we need to watch the replay again to see if there was an edge but the umpire certainly thought so. In the meantime, Nigel Llong, the leg umpire, has called for the third umpire to adjudicate on an appeal for a stumping but that stands nullified given the main umpire has given it out caught-behind

MJ Guptill c †Saha b Ashwin 70 (145m 102b 3x4 1x6) SR: 68.62

New Zealand 161/4   SB Styris 32* (36b 3x4)   R Ashwin 5.4-0-22-1
45.1

Sreesanth to Styris, OUT, strikes immediately, Styris had made his mind up, made room to that ball and tried to swat it over midwicket, miscued it, it took the top edge and Saha took it comfortably after running a few yards to his left

SB Styris c †Saha b Sreesanth 59 (78m 56b 5x4 1x6) SR: 105.35

New Zealand 219/5   DL Vettori 31* (31b 4x4)   S Sreesanth 6.1-1-22-2
45.2

Sreesanth to Vettori, OUT, He had taken a wicket off the second ball in that game as well and he repeats that feat here, Vettori moves way across to whip that fine, misses and the leg stump takes a hammering

DL Vettori b Sreesanth 31 (40m 32b 4x4 0x6) SR: 96.87

New Zealand 219/6   GJ Hopkins 0* (0b)   S Sreesanth 6.2-1-22-3
48.5

Nehra to Hopkins, OUT, appeal for run-out, swing and a miss, Saha fumbles behind the stumps but recovers well to throw down the stumps at the striker's end and catch the batsman short, Nathan McCullum is gone

NL McCullum run out 12 (18m 9b 1x4 0x6) SR: 133.33

New Zealand 243/7   GJ Hopkins 11* (12b 1x4)   A Nehra 8.5-1-44-0
49.5

Sreesanth to Mills, OUT, yorker and Sreesanth is obviously quite animated as Mills loses his leg stump, but only after 12 runs have been taken off the over. Referral called by the umpire who isn't sure if that was a no-ball, and replays show Sreesanth, only just about, had a part of his foot behind the line

KD Mills b Sreesanth 13 (3m 6b 1x4 1x6) SR: 216.66

New Zealand 256/8   GJ Hopkins 11* (12b 1x4)   S Sreesanth 8.5-1-45-4
