Sachin has won his last World Cup, his last T20 Match he played for India, his last test match for India, his last T20 for Mumbai, his last IPL finals, his last T20 champions trophy and his last ranji trophy. Oh boy what a player and what a send off.

Suddenly, it feels like the life has no purpose! Never thought a person's retirement would affect me so much. I have had so many sleepless nights for last few years since I am here in US, just watching him play. And I am sure I resonate with a lot of other fans. He kept our hopes alive and cheered us up during the low times. He always made into a pleasant conversations next morning in the office. He truly was one of the very strong forces to bind India together. Not sure if I will have the same intense interest in cricket now. You will be missed dearly, Sachin. Wish you nothing but the best!

He took so long to talk about his family/friends setup... It kind of explains the kind of family and friends set-up who are very important part of the package to be the clean sports person of his caliber. He did a quiet handsome job of preparing to talk this speech. Very well done.

Sachin speech was really touché and truly inspiration al. I was watching him playing since 1992 world cup until now. There was a time that when he gets out, I turn off the television. His innings against australia in sharjah still rememberable. Generations of cricketers came and went, but he stood still and faced all the challenges on and off the field. Today I think when do I see him play again. Hopefully he returns to team and play couple more years. Thank you Sachin for your inspirational speech and you being role model for the current generation cricket players. #ThankYouSachin
