Bangladesh Cricket Board XI 117 for 6 trail Central Zone 351 by 234 runs
Scorecard
The Bangladesh Cricket Board XI failed to capitalise with the bat after dismissing Central Zone for 351 in the first innings on the second day of the Duleep Trophy. The BCB XI got off to a miserable start, losing two wickets with no runs on the board. However, the 52-run partnership between Aftab Ahmed (18) and Mohammad Ashraful (30) steadied the innings before another mini-collapse left them struggling on 117 for six at stumps. Jai Prakash Yadav was the highest wicket-taker for Central Zone with 3 for 29.
Earlier in the day, Central Zone managed to add just 103 runs to their overnight total of 248 for 3, with Anwar Hossain Monir and Talha Jubair taking four wickets apiece. Central Zone lost the wicket of Yadav to the third ball of the day, and after that it was all downhill for Central Zone until the bowlers pinned the BCB XI back.
