Jharkhand given voting rights

The voting-dispute between Bihar and Jharkhand has been resolved by TS Krishnamurthy, the observer for the BCCI election, by giving the voting rights to the Jharkhand State Cricket Association. Representatives of Uttar Pradesh, Delhi, Himachal Pradesh and Netaji Cricket Club (NCC) have been cleared to vote on November 29.
Amitabh Chowdhary has been nominated by Jharkhand, KP Kajaria by NCC, Jyoti Bajpayee by Uttar Pradesh, CK Khanna by Delhi and Rajendra Zar by the Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association.
Representatives of a large number of affiliate units had met Krishnamurthy yesterday to submit their demands and counter-demands on authorisation of nominees to attend the AGM.
