According to PTI, the deputy commissioner of police, Panchkula, Rahul Sharma, said Yograj was arrested after a case under various sections of the Indian Penal Code, including trespassing and criminal intimidation, was registered against him. There have been cross FIRs filed, reportedly, with persons from the opposite side also taken into custody.
The alleged brawl is reported to have occurred after a party at Yograj's house, when relatives were leaving and got into an argument with the neighbour over the parking of a car.
Yograj, 56, played one Test for India, against New Zealand in Wellington in 1981. He also played six ODIs, and 30 first-class games for Haryana and Punjab.
