Murtaza to Paine, 1 run, Pain twinkles out again, and works Murtaza from the pads to mid-on for a single.

Pune Warriors 16/0   TD Paine 2* (6b)

4.1

Patel to Paine, no run, Uthappa survives a run-out chance. Symonds can't believe he's missed it from around four metres away. Paine chips out, taps to Symmo charging in from cover and then decides to call off the single. Uthappa turns back, and would have been gone if Symmo hit the stumps. He missed.

4.2

Patel to Paine, OUT, Pune are in trouble here. Munaf's removed Paine and celebrated with with typical minimalism. Effort ball, Munaf got that across faster than normal and it was a touch short too. Paine looked to pull and missed, the ball clipped top of off. Munaf is one of those seamers with no follow through. He stops, puts his hand up, looks down the track seriously and walks slowly down the track.

Pune Warriors 17/3   TD Paine 2 (9b)
