0.1

Murtaza to Ryder, no run, tossed up from over the wicket, he looks to flick and leading edge to the off side.

0.2

Murtaza to Ryder, no run, well bowled., tight line outside off, Ryder looks to cut but there is no room.

0.3

Murtaza to Ryder, no run, Huge stumping appeal, referred upstairs. This could be close. Ryder looks to drive through the off side and drags the back foot out. Not much spin for Murtaza and it slides past the outside edge. Did Ryder drag it back in, on time? Only just.. Safe.

0.4

Murtaza to Ryder, 2 runs, Ryder's away, lofting him in the air against the spin and wide of mid off. He did not get much on it, and chipped it higher than he wanted, but it's good enough for a couple.

0.5

Murtaza to Ryder, no run, looks to force against the spin, but Ryder's punch finds cover.

0.6

Murtaza to Ryder, 1 run, good start from Murtaza. Ryder gets across and works with the spin wide of mid on for a single.

Pune Warriors 3/0   AG Murtaza 1-0-3-0

2.1

Murtaza to Paine, 1 run, Pain twinkles out again, and works Murtaza from the pads to mid-on for a single.

2.2

Murtaza to Ryder, FOUR, Ryder's getting into his groove again. Tossed up bravely outside off, he gets half forward and thumps with disdain on the up. Emphatic hit over wide mid-off.

2.3

Murtaza to Ryder, no run, promptly shortens the length, Ryder cuts straight to cover.

2.4

Murtaza to Ryder, 1 run, on the pad, back of a length, Ryder works it to mid on for one

2.5

Murtaza to Paine, no run, hurries Paine into a cut, very close to off stump. Well bowled, fooled him with change in pace and length, but no edge.

2.6

Murtaza to Paine, no run, Paine looks to tap to the off side for a single, but can't get it away this time.

Pune Warriors 16/0   AG Murtaza 2-0-9-0

8.1

Murtaza to Mishra, no run, length ball outside off, Mishra drives with the spin but finds cover.

8.2

Murtaza to Mishra, FOUR, brave short, but Mishra pulls it off. He skips out before the ball is bowled, Murtaza doesn't see him and lands it on a length on middle. Mishra is not to the pitch of it, but it doesn't stop him from drag-mowing it across, wide of long on and one bounce, over the boundary.

8.3

Murtaza to Mishra, OUT, well, he just can't hold himself back, this Mohnish Mishra. He wasn't satisfied with four, he wanted a six, and was not mindful of the state of the game. Looks to get the front foot across, go down on a knee, and heave Murtaza against the spin over long on. Can't get enough on it, and Rohit Sharma on the boundary takes it.

MD Mishra c Sharma b Murtaza 12 (10b 2x4 0x6) SR: 120.00

8.4

Pune Warriors 54/5   AG Murtaza 3-0-15-1

14.1

Murtaza to Parnell, 1 run, the man in the Orange cap is everywhere. He dives away at short third man to stop the ball as Parnell looks to guide a wide ball outside off to third man.

14.2

Murtaza to Uthappa, OUT, Pollard does a Jonty Rhodes. And then does a Flintoff. Uthappa's got to go, and he's perished to a fantastic catch. Murtaza sees him coming out, drops it just back of a length and forces Uthappa to heave down the ground despite not getting to the pitch. Uthappa could not time it well, and it seemed like he would hence be safe, since this was set to land some ten metres in front of long on. Try telling Pollard that. He runs forward and to his left, swoops in and plucks it when he is horizontal, inches off the ground. And then has the presence of mind to ensure he gets the hand under the ball when he lands. And then he gets up on his knees, puts his arms wide and stands like Flintoff as his team-mates charge in. Spectacular.

RV Uthappa c Pollard b Murtaza 45 (37b 6x4 1x6) SR: 121.62

14.3

Murtaza to Parnell, no run, tossed up on the stumps, played with the spin to the bowler

14.4

Murtaza to Parnell, 1 run, short of a length this time, worked with the turn to the leg side for one.

14.5

Murtaza to Sharma, no run, nice little armer, Rahul Sharma doesn't pick it as he gropes forward.

14.6

Murtaza to Sharma, 1 run, speared on on middle and leg, heaved through midwicket for a single. Murtaza's wily spell ends.

Pune Warriors 100/7   AG Murtaza 4-0-18-2
