Big Picture

Pune Warriors' previous match was a home game against Deccan Chargers which they lost giving Chargers their first win. Losing points to bottom-placed Chargers will put pressure on Warriors as the race to finish in the top four gets tighter. After their win in Delhi, Warriors were third from the top; now, they are third from the bottom.

Chargers' chances in the tournament are diminishing fast and a top-four finish is highly unlikely as apart from Dale Steyn, there haven't been enough quality performances. Ironically, their only win came when Steyn was rested.

Warriors will be boosted by the inclusion of Michael Clarke who is making his first appearance in the IPL. If he is included in the XI, it will be interesting to see who he replaces. Clarke will bring further stability to the batting line-up. Although Sourav Ganguly will have to think about where to slot him in the order. Further, if Clarke plays, will Ganguly drop himself down the order?

Jesse Ryder and Steven Smith have been the most aggressive for Warriors, but in some games, Smith's impact was reduced due to him batting low in the order.

Chargers have come up with two surprising selection moves in the last two games. While Steyn was rested in Pune, Kumar Sangakkara sat out in Mumbai. In Cuttack, where the pitch should be completely different from the the green one in Mumbai, there might be another surprise from the Chargers camp.

Form guide

(completed games, most recent first)

Deccan Chargers: LWLLL
Pune Warriors: LLWLL

Players to watch

Robin Uthappa is the leading run scorer for Pune Warriors this season. However, his strike rate of 117.72 is much lower than previous seasons. He has only hit seven sixes in the season, but with two important points to be had, Uthappa might rise to the occasion with big shots.

For a batman of the class of JP Duminy, he should be spending maximum time in the middle. Out of the five innings he has played for Chargers, he has remained unbeaten in four. He showed glimpses of his ability in the match against Rajasthan Royals. A potential matchwinner, Duminy contributes with this handy offspin and sharp fielding as well.

Stats and trivia

  • Robin Uthappa has played 68 IPL games, only four less than S Badrinath and Suresh Raina's tally of 72.
  • Manish Pandey and Robin Uthappa's 145-run unbeaten partnership against Delhi Daredevils is the highest this season.

    Quotes

"It was unusual to change the captain, isn't it? That's the way it happened.."
Cameron White on Kumar Sangakkara's exclusion in the last game

"It seems like he's doing a really good job as captain-coach over there, I've spoken to a couple of the boys and they seem to be really happy about how things are. So, yeah, for me it's an eye-opener."
Michael Clarke is impressed with Sourav Ganguly's leadership

@karn: Foreign rule or no foreign rule. I hope u agree after today's match that Dadu should be thrown out asap if PWI has to win!

y mishra and patel in the side ?? criiteria should not be like , one who played for national side..........

Posted by Nair_saab on (May 1, 2012, 10:00 GMT)

i think pune shoul give monish mishra a chance in place of Mithun manhas as mishra is a better suited played in slog overs than mithun manhas.Uthappa has to show some urgency while batting.

Posted by Hayat22 on (May 1, 2012, 9:59 GMT)

Clarke has been taken by PWI for the future captiancy role, since the original captain Yuvraj may or may not play, and in any case was not exceptional in leading the side, while Ganguly will certainly be benched in the next season, or offered a mentor role, like he was at KKR, which if he is smart, will accept, else we'll see a repeat of the KKR-Ganguly estrangement, with the Dada loyalists screaming another betrayal! ;-D

Clarke is not T20 material but there can be a place for one leader who could control the game, which clarke can certainly do since he has age on his side, and possibly improve his T20 strike rate. A lot of Test batsmen have done it, like Kallis so Clarke could evolve in the next edition. Ganguly in such a case would be adventitious to PWI plans!

Go DC !!! The main weakness of the DC is their Bowling and Batting at death but the good point is that can be changed . For bowling take both steyn and Theron . During batting end Duminy and White around 13/14th over. Sange is a better player than white but still he shud be rested. My XI order1.dhawan 2.patel 3.chipli 4.White 5.Duminy 6.jhunjhunwala 7.sohal 8.Mishra 9.A reddy 10.Theron 11.Steyn with the above team u can get a batting line up till 9 which is most important in a T20 sohal is agressive batsmen so depending on situation he can be promoted :)

Warriors are in good shape actually, butTheere are 2 mistakes which warriors have repeatedly done which have led them to where they are now. 1 Smith not getting enough overs to bat.. Smith is not just a hitter he can also play good stable innings with more than a reasonable strike rate 2) Uthappa eating out half of the overs with a 100 strike rate. Uthappa is batting good and can be considered for one day , but in T20s his new style doesent work. its well evident from the fact that in the matches that he have contributed a lot of runs Pune has lost. So My point will be Chuck out Uthappa bring Clarke in and make sure Smith and pandey bat in the first four. I would say Dada can still open the innings and make maximum use of field restriction along With Ryder and followed by pandey and Smith. Clarke will fit in at numebr 5 giving the team a much needed stability factor and Manhas looks in tremendous touch he is also a good bet before samuels who doesent look in great form currently

Sanga should keep the wickets and MUST PLAY EVERY GAME!! Go Go Go Go CHARGERS!!!

Posted by Robin-Hood on (May 1, 2012, 9:45 GMT)

If Sangakara not playing this game, DC will get the same old result. Surely Sangakara should be in the team. He is much better captain than White. If Sangkara play this game surely he will pull another win for DC. Ganguly should be the captain for PW even he fails with the bat. Experience and quality will click at any time for both players.

Posted by   on (May 1, 2012, 9:33 GMT)

In today cricket there is only one class bowler dale steyn. He is class apart I enjoys watching him bowl. His over against MI to sachin and rohit was absolute class. He is unfortunately playing in DC. He is the only bright spot in otherwise dull DC team.

Posted by sam153 on (May 1, 2012, 9:32 GMT)

it's sure that clarke will be replacing samuels and even samuels might be returning home since he is named in the test squad.........so at what position will clarke be batting?according to me he should be coming at 3 and ganguly should be dropping down the order

Posted by   on (May 1, 2012, 9:29 GMT)

MY PW Team 1) Jesse Ryder # 2) Manish Pandey 3) Robin Utthappa 4) Michael Clarke # 5) Sourav Ganguly 6) Steven Smith # 7) Rahul Sharma 8) Murli Kartik 9) Ashok Dinda 10)Ashish Nehra/Mithun Manhas 11)Alfonso Thomas #

For Pune Tamim should be include in the side and Smith should bat up in batting order as he is in good form. For DC they should drop Sangakara as he is the main responsible for DC's super flop show till date in this IPL.If DC win then DC will stil remainl on the last position. But f Pune win they will move up the order at 4th position. To make IPL interesting Pune should win.

Posted by   on (May 1, 2012, 9:07 GMT)

Its a good time to play Tamim Iqbal. At least they can give him chance for 2/3 games. Tamim has the capacity to destroy any bowling line up of the world.

Completely agree with ahc360. Indians are too proud of themselves, and this will land them in huge trouble once Sachin retires.

Posted by   on (May 1, 2012, 9:00 GMT)

We need more batsmen and better bowlers if we were to win against DC. Please take in Sachin Rana in place of Nehra, and take in Dwivedy and Murtaza, in place of Uthappa and Mithun Manhas. We need to win, Dada. There is no point in keep taking people who don't rescue the team in situations where they are needed to perform!!!

Posted by   on (May 1, 2012, 8:51 GMT)

DC First DONT GIVE UP...BE CONFIDENT then Change team to 1. Dhawan 2. Parthiv 3. Sanga 4. Dumini 5. Chipli 6. Jhujhunwala 7. Theron 8. Steyn 9.Ankit Sharma 10.Amit Mishra 11. Veer Pratap Singh. AND change your attitude, do hard work like last TWO matches, never quit till LAST BALL. if u want Right Handers on top Chipli & Abhishek change their places. Have a game plan. veer pratap is impressive take guidance from Steyn. SANGA PLAY EVERY MATCH

Posted by StevieS on (May 1, 2012, 8:41 GMT)

Is this a test match? Why would people even think of playing Clark?? he is a poor 20/20 player. Didn't he say a few years back that he didn't care for the IPL, poor attitude to boot.

4 overseas players: Ryder, Smith, Thomas, N McCullum

Rahul sharma was unable show wickets to the ball, hes always helping the ball go into hands of spectators, should try out murtaza 3 Fast & 3 Spin should help bowling department of pune

PLAYING 11 SHOULD BE RYDER,GANGULY,ROBBIE,CLARKE,STEVE SMITH,MANISH PANDEY,MITHUN MANHAS,DINDA,MURLI,RAHUL,ALFONSO CAN`T BE BETTER THAN THIS

IF THEY PLAY WITH THIS SIDE & LOST THE GAME DEN DON`T THINK OF QUALIFYING AND INDIAN PLAYERS ARE NOT PERFORMING B`COZ REASON IS TO MAKE 15 PLAYERS SQUAD FOR WORLD CUP T20 LOTS OF PRESSURE ON THEM

Posted by   on (May 1, 2012, 8:15 GMT)

Its high time, Pune should play Tamim Iqbal and for DC, well I still wonder what combination will work. Perhaps, play Theron and Staen together along with Sanga and Duminy.

High hopes, but still, DC looks a better side with the way Staen is bowling.

Posted by   on (May 1, 2012, 7:58 GMT)

exclude duminy not in touch and christian a perfect example of over rated player. Sanga and rusty to be included. Samantray the home boy and ravi teja, most talented local player of DC must replace chipli and jaggi. Teja given to bat up the order regularly can fetch some gud shots and a gud innings. Samuels nt in touch, clark must replace and smith to be sent at 5.

Posted by StevieS on (May 1, 2012, 7:51 GMT)

Tamin over Ryder O.o you would drop Punes second highest run scorer (224 - average 32) with a guy that averages under 20 in 20/20 and a strike rate that would lose games. Wasn't Ryder their higest run scorer last year? pretty sure he was.... when he score runs Pune win when he doesn't Pune losses, that says a lot.

Posted by paritoshroy on (May 1, 2012, 7:38 GMT)

Replace Ganguly and Ryder with Clarke and Tamim respectively and you've got yourself a better team. Clarke's contribution as captain shouldn't be underestimated.

Posted by ahc360 on (May 1, 2012, 7:29 GMT)

What I have seen so far from both the teams that has two of the top Bangladeshi players (number one alrounder in the world included) they are not willing to give them a chance. Yes, Sakib got couple of starts (for KKR) but, since then no other appearences by him. Instead, Yousuf Pathan gets in every single game. What does he have to show for it? I realize there is a balance and there can not be more than four foreign players per side. A good team must balance this to get their top performers in. And what about Tamim (for PWI)? So far he has not been given a chance after repeated below par performances by the top batsmen for PWI. Not even a sigle opportunity? And the time is running out for the PWI. He is a devastating opener in any form. I am sorry to form this opinion, it seems to me that the IPL teams do not want to play their Bangladeshi teammates since they just lost to Bangladesh in the Asia Cup. Perhaps this loss is harder to take than losing to other top teams.

Posted by   on (May 1, 2012, 7:26 GMT)

This game is of no consequence at all. Deccan will surely succumb to Pune.

Posted by   on (May 1, 2012, 7:18 GMT)

@sachinrao... can u tell me who is going to perform the role of fifth bowler in your team?...

Posted by kewlol on (May 1, 2012, 7:04 GMT)

I guess tamim will get to be in the squad today. So will clarke. It seems that Ryder has got a flu and has been left to rest in Pune. So he is not available for today's game so we can see tamim opening the innings with manish. I also hope tamim scores. Tamim was left out all these days because, there are players with relatively more experience than him on this shorter format of the game. Tamim is certainly a rising star of the BD cricket team and i would love to see him keep up with pace today and make that mark. Also don't blame the team management or ganguly for the losses, i think the players lacked the commitment when they had to deliver, the enthusiasm that smith and manish are showing is lacking when it comes to uthappa. So its collective responsibility and can't be blamed on anyone. They seriously need to reconsider the batting line up, i think uthappa needs to bat down the order and smith needs to go up. Also when wright comes in give him a place, he is more capable than clarke

Posted by SachinRao on (May 1, 2012, 6:39 GMT)

The biggest blunder Pune have done is in not picking Tamim. They got to get it straight. Tamim, Pandey, Clarke, Ganguly, Smith, Uthappa, Manas/M. Mishra, Murali karthik, Alfonso, Rahul and Dinda (If fit else Wagh or Kamran Khan).

Posted by MAK123 on (May 1, 2012, 6:09 GMT)

Unfortunately, Chargers can only go as far as being hot favorites once in a portion of the match today

Posted by cooldxve on (May 1, 2012, 6:06 GMT)

The chances that DC will make it to the play-offs is very tough, but not impossible. They have done this before in IPL-3, where they needed to win their last 5 matches to qualify and they did. They can do it again. The squad should be: 1. Dhawan, 2. Patel(wk), 3. Duminy, 4. Sohal, 5. Sanga(c), 6. Reddy, 7. Tanmay, 8. Steyn, 9. Theron, 10. Gony, 11. Ankit. DC supporters don't lose hope. GO CHARGERS! GO CHARGERS!

I dont know Y people start to say drop ganguly whem clarke arrived...simply stupid. Just see it is indian captains who is doing things right at the moment and clarke doesn't know how to utilize local talents within a flash...understand and post comments plz.

Did someone say .. 'Ryder in form'? Please forgive me if I laugh out loud! One more single digit score, and people will understand what really the weak link is for Warriors.

Posted by hasib9 on (May 1, 2012, 3:35 GMT)

I agree with passionate_cricket_follower. Drop Ganguly to add Tamim.. Then drop a foreign bowler to add a local bowler. Ganguly is the weak link. Tamim will be a surprise to the opposition, and in a smashing form after Asia cup.

Posted by Slesh on (May 1, 2012, 2:39 GMT)

Do or die...this will be the last chance!! DC must win this if there is any hope of getting into top 4.they need to win atleast 6 out of 8 remaining matches.not impossible.they could do that if they do following.. 1) Sanga to captaincy and open the innings. 2) Bring back Theron for Duminy or even White.they might say they need 3 overseas batsmen.but look how they lost games..all b'coz lack of bowling side.even they could have defend that 100 if there was another class bowler to help Steyn. 3) for god sake drop Chritian!! bring in Samantray and Akshath reddy in place of Chipli & Jaggi. 4) A.Mishra may be their main spinner.but Ankit Sharma should be in XI as he gives everything,as a fielder, bowler and a batsmen. 5) simply field well.. Then have this batting order 1.Sanga 2.Dhawan 3.White/Duminy 4.Patel 5.Akshath 6.Samantray 7.AA.Reddy 8.Steyn 9.Theron 10.A.Sharma 11.Veer Pratap. There were 3 overseas batsmen in every game.but that didnt help to win a single game! They have to back their batsmen to get a good score.then with Steyn and Theron they can defend any good total!! We still support u.. C'mon Sanga and DC..show how good u all.

To be continued from below

Don't you think Uthapa batted really slow for his 58 ball 60 and with 8 wickets in hand they could have

made a score of 175 runs..I understand he is eying Indian cap but this is not helping the cause.

Against Deccan chargers it was ganguly who stepped the gas first and started hitting bigger shots and

when he got out it was still gettable and they lost in overs 10-15 where both Uthapa and Samuels were

really slow.

If you guys really understand cricket then you should realise they are loosing because they are not

bowling well. They are badly hurt after Dinda left the scene and I hope he comes back in todays game. Dont blame Ganguly for each and every loss, cricket is a team game and everyone needs to deliver. I know he is a shadow of his own self at the same time I would like to say Ganguly bashing is in thing

these days.So keep doing it you might get some hit on these comments but the great man is trying to win

matches for his team. You should rem

@passionate_cricket_follower - I am surprised, you are smart enough collect a bunch of revealing statistics but not know about the four player rule. Most Bangladeshi fans crying about Tamim and Shakib seem to be oblivious if the rule that ONLY FOUR FOREIGNERS CAN PLAY IN A TEAM. C'mon, it's not that hard to understand. Whom will Tamim replace? An inform Ryder? B---- please! @Choudury - Kumar sat out because of the four player rule, not because Jaggi and/or Chipli can contribute more. As a matter of fact, it was dumb for him to sit out for someone like Christian - a genuinely inept none-rounder. Chargers have to basically play with their four best batsman; that are Dhawan, Patel, Sanga, and Duminy - shows their pathetic team. Nevertheless, they must ensure, Duminy is out in the middle by the 10-12 over range, so he can prepare for the last three over onslaught. Kumar must play at one down. They should aim to get 130-150; then aim to defend with a bowling with Dale, Rusty, Reddy, et al.

Posted by mavericksaggi12 on (May 1, 2012, 1:48 GMT)

@passionate_cricket_follower n all:Don't compare Tamim with Ganguly.I agree that he has not played well as he could have.Cricket is a team game and its not about individuals,so stop criticizing one man.. PWI downward trend started from match against RCB.. They lost in the match because of some poor bowling from rahul sharma and ashish nehra plus brilliance of AB Devillers. After that they lost to CSK where they couldnt make 40 of last four overs(gettable 10 runs per over as per T20).Angelo Mathews and Steven Smith lost the game despite they were settled and came in quite early. Both of made run a ball 20s.. After that they won a game against Delhi after some great teamwork and brilliant all round show from Ganguly. Next match Delhi made a mockery of 145 scored by PWI..I understand they lost two quick wickets (Ganguly was out for one and Ryder for a duck) but dont you think that both Uthapa and Pandey were slow in making runs...

Posted by Deepak_Toronto on (May 1, 2012, 1:03 GMT)

Smith should move up in the batting order.Dada should come at number 6. Clark should open with Ryder.Pune will have to be wary of Dale Steyn.Ryder and Utthapa can fail..50% chnaces agst Dale.So they have to make their strategy to counter Dale's power. Make sure to play MURLI KARTHIK AND DINDA[IF FIT] Batting order should be: 1.Clark [try to play full 20 overs] 2. Ryder 3.Manish Pandey 4. Smith 5.Utthapa 6.dada 7. Murli Karthik 8. Nehra 9.Alfonso 10. Dinda/B Kumar 11. Try new player in place of Rahul Sharma

Starting XI Should be like this

1. Ryder/Tamim Iqbal 2. Pandey 3. Robin 4. Clarke 5. Smith 6. Ganguly 7. Mithun 8. Thomas/ parnell 9. Dinda 10. Nehra 11. Rahul/Karthik

Posted by passionate_cricket_follower on (April 30, 2012, 23:30 GMT)

I don't see anything wrong in what Ahmed Hussain said. Tamim deserves a place in the 11 at the cost of the great Dadu! Dadu lovers overlook the statistics he has produced after 9 innings: matches: 9, innings: 9, Not out: 0, Runs: 150, Highest: 41, Average: 16.66, Balls: 142, Strike rate: 105.63. And he has done all this as an opener, or the most important number 3 position. In addition to it, there's his abysmal fielding, and snail-like running which has cost a few run outs. I don't think he has produced any mind boggling captaincy either. Tamim, I'm confident would produce much better figures if given 10 odd opportunities at the top of the order. Dadu with all his arrogance should go. Clarke or Angelo should take over as the captain, and draft Tamim in.

@Kunaal Varshney .....What a response sir, I mean I really love you and your comment. And of course your cricket knowledge. I am thinking why don't you coach PWI, may b you can successfully replace Dada, You have an awesome attitude and knowledge. Great, Love u

Pune Warriors Playing XI should be :- SC Ganguly*, MJ Clarke, M Kartik,B Kumar, M Manhas, MK Pandey, JD Ryder, R Sharma, SPD Smith, AC Thomas, RV Uthappa, AB Dinda / B Kumar.

Posted by   on (April 30, 2012, 20:18 GMT)

I have a few suggestions on PWI team. No matter what happens, Smith should be in the 22 yards at around 12th over. Play Karthik ahead of Mithun Manhas because PWI probably doesn't need any more batsman after Thomas is included instead of Dinda. Drop Rahul Sharma, he seems to be clueless when someone goes after him which makes him a bad T20 choice (use Smith as a bowler instead). Can try Kamran Khan or Anustup. To me bowling is their weakest section and needs one more bowler than what they are playing with.

Posted by sridhar8 on (April 30, 2012, 20:01 GMT)

I think Clarke will be an automatic selection. Drop Uthappa down the order and by 12th over Smith should come to bat. My team would be: Ryder, Manish, Clarke, Dada, Smith, Uthappa, Samuels, Kartik, Nehra, Dinda, Rahul Sharma

Posted by Choudury on (April 30, 2012, 19:58 GMT)

DADA should do a Sangakara and not play for the good of the team. You know the younger players better than him are not getting to bat. He can come in as substitute to field and captain.

Posted by   on (April 30, 2012, 19:50 GMT)

Tamim, Pandey, Ganguly, Clarke, Smith, Uthappa, Manhas/khadiwale, Karthik, Thomas, Kumar/Dinda, Nehra. Best 11.

Posted by LAKingsFan on (April 30, 2012, 19:50 GMT)

If Ganguly is in playing elevens why on earth he comes at #3. To me, Ganguly should bat at anywhere between #9-#11. There shouldn't be any competition for Ganguly to bat at those positions. Ganguly denied Smith and Mathews a lot of opportunities to bat at the top order.

Posted by   on (April 30, 2012, 19:44 GMT)

DC playing XI should be: 1.shikar dawan 2.parthiv patel 3.barath chipli 4.jp duminy 5.cameron white 6.abishek junjunwala 7.ashish reddy 8. amit mishra 9.dale steyn 10.gony 11.rusty theron

Posted by   on (April 30, 2012, 19:35 GMT)

Ahmed Hussain: This is not railway waiting list... fisrt come first serve. There is lot more involved in it.Forget NOT DADA want Tamim to be in his team as backup for sure not as a frontliner as Smith, Rder are sitting prety on the top.

Coming to #PWI all it needs to one more good innings from Ryder and Pande. They hold the key. rest all can play around :)

Posted by kishore_4DC on (April 30, 2012, 19:25 GMT)

All the best Pune, Dada - hats off to your captaincy for India so long. I am sure you will win tomrow vs depleted "dhakkan" dis chargers. I dont know if DC is still expecting any big time players to join while Pune is going to add Clarke who will further beef up their middle order. Hoping Pandey and Uthappa click and Smith finishing off well - DC is on its way collecting their 7 th loss, thier position at the top (from bottom) looks settled; guys am an Hyderabadi - but can't expect this team turning around just because of their players quality or lack of it !!!! they deserved to be at the bottom much before the start of tournament and they are rightly placed. I just wish if they show some commitment and atleast hold on to catches, not expecting anything more than that. Sanga might play, drop white ?? Generally for a team captain is constant, other players are rotated/chagned. But here 'constant' is changing - shows their weakness. any way all the best.

Deccan Chargers are selecting their XI randomly. This team has the weakest Pros. But even so if Sangakara, Duminy, Steyn & Theron play as 4 pros. there are 7 other good local players such as Dhawan, P.Patel, Gony, Sharma, Ashish Reddy, A.Mishra & Jhunjhunwala. The problem is they are not planning for a balanced side. On the other hand Pune Warriors has strong team with Rahane, Smith, Shah in terrific form. This game will not be much of a match if Deccan do not pick their strongest side. Their record at the moment is dismal 1-5. Dropping Sangakara with no batting in the team is poor to say the least. White & Christian have not delivered consistently either. Come on Deccan, show some grit!

For tomorrow's game, Pune's playing XI & batting order should be:

1.Uthappa 2.Pandey 3.Ryder 4.Clarke 5.Ganguly 6.Smith 7.Manhas 8.Murali Kartik 9. Thomas 10.Dinda 11.Nehra

I hope Tamim doesnt have such a narrow view of team as selection as Ahmed Hussain has.

@Ahmed Hussain... Stop crying abt the inclusion of Tamim... Why cant ppl understand hitting 4 fifties isnt a criteria to b selected in IPL XI... Comparing him with Clarke!!! A crime... well if u insist, Clarke is an all rounder, Tamim is not more than a avg. batsman. Clarke with his skills & experience can turn any match situation, Tamim has still to experience those situations... Clarke comes with his exp of being a captain of a successful team, Tamim is just a member to a ordinary team which is yet to prove itself. So, Clarke needs to play & Tamim needs to warm the bench!!!

Ganguly should be the non-playing captain. No doubt he is a good leader, but I don't think he is contributing much as a player.

It has been a pleasure to watch Dale Steyn bowling in this IPL,especially in his two matches against Mumbai Indians! He has shown that a World class Test player can easily adapt to the T20 because in the end,its the basic skills that counts in any format of the game. He showed why he's without a doubt the No. 1 fast bowler in the World because other leading fast bowlers of today are nowhere close to him .All the aspiring fast bowlers in India should watch him bowl and pick up a few tips from his bowling! A legend in making(Or in some ways,he's already a Legend).

Pune Warriors have to have better bowling figures than in previous games.

I bet Clarke will be immediately selected ahead of Tamim who by the way just arrived in India after the recent tour to the Caribbean whereas Tamim has been there from the moment this seasons IPL has started but no surprises, this is India after all. Tamim deserves to be treated with respect but 9 games Pune had played but Tamim has not been included in any of these games well at least he's getting paid a large sum of check and learning everything he can so he can use it to bring Bangladesh forward.
