Indian Premier League - 19th match

Mumbai Indians v Delhi Daredevils

Delhi Daredevils won by 7 wickets (with 31 balls remaining)

It's game time. Two South Africans opening for the Indians. Davy Jacobs and Richard Levi. Irfan Pathan with the new ball, from over the wicket.

7.50 pm Muneeb: "Interesting points table, the teams with foreign players as their captains are all at the bottom." Kings XI, Royal Challengers and the Chargers.

Pradip: "What happen to Malinga? Other IPL team are more interested in Malinga absence than Sachin's presence!!" We have no word yet ...

Sehwag said this on Twitter a few hours ago: "Last yr i had to play out a maiden from malinga, hope to make amends for it today. Who do u think will come out on top and win?" Well I guess that duel won't come to pass.

Toss, 7.30 pm Harbhajan tosses, Sehwag calls tails, and he wins. Delhi will bowl at Wankhede Stadium. Ross Taylor is playing today, so his hand must have healed enough. Taylor comes in for Roelof van Der Merwe. Ajit Agarkar is also playing, in place of Venugopal Rao.

Sehwag, Mahela, KP, Taylor ... how's that for a Twenty20 top four. van der Merwe hasn't done much wrong, he's such a fighter, but the likes of Andre Russell and Doug Bracewell are also on the bench.

Sachin Tendulkar is still not fit. He will be fit for the next game, Harbhajan says. Davy Jacobs, RP Singh and someone else whose name Harbhajan can't remember is also playing. The other major news is that Lasith Malinga is not playing today, Clint McKay is. So that's whom Harbhajan might have forgot. Jacobs is playing instead of Franklin.

So to recap. Delhi's foreign players are - Mahela, KP, Taylor and Morkel. Mumbai's are - Levi, Jacobs, Pollard and McKay.

7.25 pm Good evening, and welcome to ESPNcricinfo's ball-by-ball coverage of the match between Delhi Daredevils and Mumbai Indians at Wankhede Stadium. These are two in-form teams - they've dropped only a game each - and victory for either will vault them to the top of the table.

The question most people are asking is whether Sachin Tendulkar will play today? He hasn't played since the tournament opener in Chennai, when Doug Bollinger struck him with a short ball and hurt his hand. It's been a while since these two teams played, a rare rest during the IPL.
