Indian Premier League - 43rd match

Rajasthan Royals v Delhi Daredevils

Delhi Daredevils won by 6 wickets (with 28 balls remaining)

7.55pm Dravid will take strike, Irfan Pathan to bowl. Watson won't open the innings after all.

7.50pm Toss Rajasthan will bat. Nothing to do with the defeat while chasing in the previous game, only one change for Rajasthan, Watson in for Cooper. Delhi also make one change, left-arm spinner Negi in for Agarkar.

Sehwag has hit a record-equalling four consecutive half-centuries, can he make a fifth? A victory for Delhi will lift them to 16 points, on the brink of a play-off place with six games to play. A Rajasthan win will lift them to the fourth spot.

7.30pm Greetings folks, the second game of the day is Delhi Daredevils v Rajasthan Royals. It will be Kevin Pietersen's last game of the season, but Delhi Daredevils won't feel his loss too much as David Warner is slated to replace him from the next game.

A thriller is going on in Cuttack, where Pune need 23 off the final over to beat the bottom-placed Deccan. Comms for that here.

For Rajasthan, allrounder Shane Watson returns to provide some muscle to the top order. Dravid and Rahane have been Rajasthan's regular openers this season, but that pairing looks set to be split with the introduction of Watson. Kevon Cooper is likely to be sidelined, with a fracture on his right knee.

19.6

Yadav to Goswami, 1 run, on the pads, through to the keeper for a single, and Rajasthan end on 141, not often that a team scores more in the first 10 than in the second half

It was all about Pawan Negi, the 19-year-old left-arm spinner, finishing with 4 for 18. Rajasthan's batsmen will also look at their shot selection - Rahane falling to a reverse-swat, Watson to an attempted heave, Shah couldn't get his paddle-sweep right, Hodge chopped a harmless delivery towards backward point. Dravid watched from the other end as the cracking start he and Rahane provided was frittered, and they could hit only five fours in the final ten overs, not good enough even for an ODI. Dravid got his second half-century of the season, but Rajasthan seem to have ended short of a total that will challenge Delhi's powerful line-up.
