Indian Premier League, Elimination Final: Chennai Super Kings v Mumbai Indians at Bengaluru, May 23, 2012
Indian Premier League - Elimination final
Chennai Super Kings won by 38 runs
23 May 2012 - night match (20-over match)

Franklin to Hussey, FOUR, a full ball on the pads, meat and drink for Hussey, who glances and beats the fielder at short fine leg. Even I might have got bat on that

Franklin to Hussey, OUT, that's cleared the backward square leg boundary ... oh no it hasn't! Kulkarni's taken a splendid catch. Hussey flicked a length ball with the angle into him and he seemed to have placed it into the gap. Kulkarni ran to his left from deep square leg, caught the ball in the nick of time, and was able to stay inside play by arresting his momentum

MEK Hussey c Kulkarni b Franklin 49 (39b 8x4 1x6) SR: 125.64

Franklin to Dhoni, 1 run, punched off the back foot to cover

Franklin to Jadeja, 1 run, full ball outside off, driven on the front foot towards cover

Franklin to Dhoni, no run, Jadeja's been let off! Dhoni had come out of his crease to flick, he missed and was hit on the pads. The ball fell close on the off side and Jadeja ran a long way down from the non-striker's end. Dhoni sent him back. Franklin ran to the ball, picked up and threw at the bowler's end. RP Singh had come running in from mid-off and he broke the stumps with Jadeja well short. He broke the stumps after failing to collect the ball

Franklin to Dhoni, SIX, that's out of here! A length ball which Dhoni got under and heaved at with might towards long-on. That's gone over the roof of the Chinnaswamy Stadium. Tremendous. The biggest of the tournament? 112 metres, so it was.

Chennai Super Kings 114/4   JEC Franklin 1-0-12-1
