Big Picture

The scramble to finish in the top four is getting intense as the league moves into the second half. While Chennai Super Kings have floated to the top and two teams with inertia working against them have settled at the bottom, others are still moving up and down randomly in Brownian motion. Sunrisers Hyderabad were at the top a week ago, but after two away losses they have descended to No. 5. They have a chance to catch the updraught again when they face a strong Mumbai Indians team at their home venue.

Most teams this year have thrived in home conditions and Sunrisers are no different - they have won three out of three in Hyderabad on the back of some inspiring spells by their all-round bowling unit even after repeated batting collapses. With the inclusion of Shikhar Dhawan and Darren Sammy, the line-up appears - at least on paper - a bit spunkier. If they can find a way to extend the aggression shown by their bowlers to their batting - and fielding - they can continue springing surprises. The only problem that remains to be solved is their constant juggling of the captaincy.

Mumbai Indians' home record is immaculate, but playing away, they have blown hot and cold. Their batting was dismal in Jaipur and their bowlers appeared listless in Delhi. However, they seem to have bumped into the right formula under the new leadership of Rohit Sharma and have won three consecutive matches, although that has neatly covered up the lack of form of their 40-year-old opener. Can they pull up a similar act without the Mumbai crowd behind them?

Watch out for …

Sunrisers' rickety batting line-up was overly dependent on Thisara Perera for the big hits, but in Darren Sammy, they now have another player who can clear the boundaries with ease, can play the defensive role, be a decent bowler and an athletic fielder. His half-century against Rajasthan Royals gave Sunrisers a chance to fight and showed his value in the team. For what it's worth, he is also from West Indies, the players from where have played a number of starring roles this season already.

Rohit Sharma is probably the best striker of the ball in India behind MS Dhoni. But he is not the usual murderer of the cricket ball; he takes his time and then makes it up later with hits that are easy to the eye and brutal on the bowler's psyche. Some of his sixes this season have landed deep into the stands; one off a full toss off David Hussey ended up in the top tier at Wankhede on Monday night. Dale Steyn's bowling was dented by Dhoni the other day in Chennai. Can Rohit do the same against the best fast bowler in the world?

Stats and trivia

  • Thisara Perera is the leading run-scorer for Sunrisers Hyderabad this season with 144 runs, but he sits on No. 28 in the batting charts
  • Rohit Sharma has smashed 23 sixes this season - 10 more than the third-placed Eoin Morgan. Chris Gayle is on the top of the list with 36.
  • 130 by Royal Challengers Bangalore is the highest total achieved by a visiting team in Hyderabad this season

This contest will be interesting. We've seen in the last edition, how Mumbai batsmen including Sachin failed to score against Steyn. Being a SRH fan I presume they have finally zeroed in a settled line up. Sangakkara, Thisara, Sammy, Steyn should fill the overseas slots. As mentioned in the article, inclusion of Sammy has really boosted the team in all ascepts. He is such a talented player and not to forget a very motivational character. Sangakkara needs to break his mental barriers. Even though he failed in the previous outings, His team has managed to make a good score. so he should stop feeling the burden and must play according to his instincts. Looking fwd for this much waited encounter. Rise SRH!!

129 - enough for SRH to chase within 20 overs. SRH will win in 18 overs

@priceless1 - Seriously? Of all the people? DeKock over Sanga at such a crucial period. Bad call. Yes, Sanga's not performing but I feel he's the best option for SRH when it comes to captaincy and maybe Sammy. White not it. Been more than enough time now for teams to settle and set their squads having identified strength and weakness. If they haven't, they deserve to loose. This is CSKs biggest advantage. They know their players and it helps that everyone performs :p I agree with the people opting for Sanga (C), Perera, Sammy & Steyn. We'll see what the team decides.

get nathan mccullum in for sanga and parthiv for akshath reddy (opener). give captaincy to Darren Sammy. this shld be a balanced side.

As per my choice 4 overseas players are 1) Steyn 2) Perara 3) Sammy 4) Kock or McCullum. Both White and Sanga should restrict to pavillion.

Duminy should have been picked from day 1, but he is still recovering from a heel injury I suppose. Vihari plays really slow fro T20's so he should be left out. This should be the line-up for today: 1-DHAWAN 2-AKSATH REDDY 3-PATELl(wk) 4-WHITE 5-PERERA 6-SAMMY 7-ASHISH REDDY 8-MISHRA 9-STEYN 10-KARAN 11-ISHANT. The main issue for the SunRisers has been their batting in the first 10 overs or so, if Dhawan can get some support from Askath and Patel, while White, Perera, Sammy, Ashish and Mishra bang the bowlers at the death, the SunRisers could post something around 180. Not to under estimate MI. Tendulkar should try and bat No.4. Someone should move for Maxwell. MI squad: SMITH/MAXWELL, ROHIT, KARTHIK, TENDULKAR, POLLARD, RAYUDU, BHAJJI, JOHNSON, MALINGA, KULKARNI, BUMRAH/OJHA. If Maxwell plays, he should come after Pollard and Tendulkar should open, Ojha should also be removed then because Maxwell is also a spinner. It's going to be a good contest.

  • IndianCoolGuy on May 1, 2013, 9:01 GMT

Sanga should be dropped. Sammy should lead the team. SRH can try with Chris Lynn. Over seas players should be 1) Dale 2) Parera 3) Sammy 4) White/Lynn. Parthav can be used as a WK(anyway sanga is not scoring runs) Duminy is not in the team because of injury.

  • on May 1, 2013, 8:53 GMT

If Mumbai bowl the way they did against Kings XI, I think Sunrisers should win this. If Sanga plays the match he should make sure he plays well, Hydbad neads there main players to fire if they want to defeat teams like MI.

  • Audit1986 on May 1, 2013, 8:39 GMT

MI win most of their previous games by the help of luck and poor shot selection of the opposite batsman. If SRH show a little consciousness today, i think it will be their day. Sanga must not be included today. Summy must be lead the team. He has better experience than white or others. Dhawn should open the game. T. Pereira should take the responsibility to score some quick run like 50 with 20-25 balls. Best of luck Sunrisers Hydrabad

  • Baseball-Sucks on May 1, 2013, 8:24 GMT

@Ramesh Chowdary ; Dude, why do you keep posting the same thing over n over again ? Well, we get it that you don't wanna see Sanga in the playing XI. But guess what. Thats not gonna happen. 4 foreign players for SRH are Sanga (C), Perera, Sammy n Steyn. So just deal with it.

  • priceless1 on May 1, 2013, 8:23 GMT

Biggest worry for the SRH is that Sanga might include him self in the team again and waste a valuable batsman spot, i wouldn't mind seeing DeKock getting another go instead of Sanga

  • RAJESRH on May 1, 2013, 8:22 GMT

SUN will RISE today. "***All are thinking SUNrises and SUNsets but actually the EARTH is Moving.***" GO SRH GOOOOOOOOO...... *According to me, Best team combination for today's match .... 1.Dhawan, 2.Akshat, 3.Parthiv(Wk), 4.White(C), 5.Sammy, 6.Perera, 7.Ashish, 8.Karan Sharma, 9.Amit Mishra, 10.Steyn, 11.Ishant.

** Use Ashish as a pinch hitter in case of early wicket fall (first 6 overs). ** Dhawan & White are Anchors in batting. ** Sammy, Perera & Ashish to make big score. ** make at least 150+ if batting first. ** If second batting control Mumbai less than 140.

  • Baseball-Sucks on May 1, 2013, 8:20 GMT

Give it up people, Sammy is gonna make captain as long as Sanga is there. Period. So forget about it. SRH have finally found their best combination. In terms of 4 foreign slots, its gonna be Sanga, Perera, Steyn n Sammy. So there is no need for Patel to be in the team as Sanga is keeping wickets now. I'd prefer Akshath Reddy in place of Patel.

So the best playing XI would be : Dhawan , Akshath Reddy , Sanga, Vihari , Sammy, Perera, Ashish Reddy , Mishra, Steyn, Karan Sharma , I. Sharma.

This match is gonna be awesome only due to the pace which both teams bring to party. Malinga n Johnson vs Steyn , Sharma, Perera, Sammy. :))) Waiting to see a good contest.

SRH Have great legends in team management. today have to good think about team selection. plz select the infom xI. i think this is the best .

  • Chaitanya82 on May 1, 2013, 8:06 GMT

Sanga is the weak link in the srh . I feel he should be replaced with either jp duminy or cameron white ... If Sanga is going to play in today's match srh will for sure loose the match as he lacks consistency and is the weak link in the side

  • on May 1, 2013, 7:47 GMT

WE ARE HEADING TOWARDS another nail bitting contest between SRH AND MI but this time SRH had a better chance . MI are spiritless wen they comes out from their den . SRH has been winning all low scoring games. with their spirited and dangerous bowling attack. today its SRH' s time to fire with their batting . inclusion of dhawan and sammy .. made the batting line up stronger than ever . if we comes to 4 foreign players 1, white, 2, tisara, 3, sammy, and the final one was known by everyone . 4, steyn.. with indian players like 1, dhawan, 2, parthiv, 3, vihari, 4, ashish reddy, 5,mishra, 6, karan sharma, 7,ishanth sharma. this should be todays winning combination. if duminy is fit we can place him in cam white.. slot. SRH had good allrounders in da team . in da form of sammy, tisara, ashis, karan, vihari is also handy for couple of overs . good balance .. ALL DA BEST SRH.........

This team would be better at Top and Middle Order and can boast of the best Bowling attack.

  • on May 1, 2013, 7:18 GMT

For the games in Hyderabad...... Dale Steyn, Thishara Perera, Darren Sammy and Nathan Mc Cullum will be the best overseas players for SRH with Darren Sammy as Skipper.

I feel this will be a brilliant game to watch.SRH have a brilliant bowling line up, and as mentioned Sammy. I would like to see them go with Steyn, Sammy, Duminy and Thisara for this game and Sammy as captain.no need to play sanga today because he was not in fom.I would like to see JP Duminy in the attack as well.

    my srh xi: (1) s dhawan, 2.a reddy. 3. vihari. 4.jp dumini, 5.t perera. 6.sammy, 7.a reddy, 8.kanan sharma, 9. amith mishra, 10.steyn.11.isanth.

    this is best srh lineup

  • MAYURESHmagic on May 1, 2013, 7:08 GMT

  • AjitDJ on May 1, 2013, 6:42 GMT

Why are the Sri Lankan players always out of form in the IPL? Except for Malinga, nobody has played consistently. And Sanga, he was in the exact same situation in the last IPL also.

  • Haleos on May 1, 2013, 6:35 GMT

Steyn is THE best fast(EXPRESS) bowler of the modern era. No disrespect to Mcgrath but he was not express. Guys like Akhtar, Gul et all were most of the times injury prone. Steyn has managed to stay fit for so long.

  • lukecannon on May 1, 2013, 6:30 GMT

I must post a special comment thanking the management of SRH. They after having careful thought promoted Amit Mishra in the batting order when they had Perera and Reddy in the line-up. I mean we are just fans and even we realise how idiotic this sort of decision is... and those people are payed to make this sort of blunders? wow. There will come a time when they might even bench Dale Steyn. Good luck today SRH.

  • gaddam01 on May 1, 2013, 6:22 GMT

I felt sorry for Mumbai Indians. They are having most star studded squad in the IPL if you compare with other teams. But still they are failed to win the IPL from past 5 editions. Star studded line up is not enough to win the tournaments like IPL, you should have the team to go out there and done the job on the given day. For example Rajastan Royalas don't have much star players in 2008 but they have won the IPL and the same happened with Deccan Changres in 2009. Mumbai Inidans are failed to do this at Knockout stages.

Surprise them

  • on May 1, 2013, 5:37 GMT

SRH is struggling to find the right combination of Foreign players, while other teams are benching millionaires. Sanga should be appreciated for dropping himself to give way to de Kock, but it didn't go well for SRH. Now that de Kock and White look totally out of form, there's no point in Sanga dropping himself again. Sanga, Sammy, Thisara and Steyn would be my choice for the foreign players. Moving on to the rest 7: Ashish Reddy, Mishra, Ishanth, Shikhar are certain to be picked. The miserly spells from Karan Sharma may also guarantee his place. So, that leaves us with two slots left. It's a choice between Akshath Reddy, Parthiv, Vihari, Ravi Teja and Biplab. I'd recommend playing Biplab and Vihari, so that the middle order will have somebody who can hold the fort. Dhawan needs a suitable partner. Sanga is too slow to be playing in the power-plays. SRH should experiment with Ashish Reddy at the top, because he is a good hitter and can clear the circle without much effort. Good Luck!

  • Lasom on May 1, 2013, 5:35 GMT

Best combination of overseas players. Sanga, Steyn, Sammy, and Thisara while is Sammyis leading the side. This will balance with two allrounders , one batsman & a bawler.

  • gaddam01 on May 1, 2013, 5:33 GMT

Hyderabad is one of the favourite ground for Tendulkar. He scored 23 from 13 balls against RCB in Mumabi, eventhough it is not a match winning knock but it is more valuable than the innings 54 Vs Delhi and 44 Vs Pune. We hope the he will do the same against Dayle Styen. Even though Tendulkar is not at his best, still SRT versus Styen contest is a treat to watch. Hope SRT will get some runs under his belt today.

  • on May 1, 2013, 5:18 GMT

everyone is saying duminy should replace sanga... give a break for chris lynn.. massive hitter.. superb fielder and bowls left arm.. he had decent bigbash recently.. if duminy is still recovering.. experiment with chris lynn He and Dhawan along with vihari could be the possible much needed change

    Team Lineup:

    S Dhawan, K Sangakkarra, H Vihari, JP Duminy, P Patel, D Sammy, T Perera ,K Sharma, A Mishra, D Steyn, I Sharma.

P Patel is the crisis man like Badrinath.

  • Sandeep_Maddu on May 1, 2013, 4:38 GMT

SRH will be facing Johnson and Malinga in today's match. So the team composition needs to be a bit experienced today. Sangakarra should be playing. Yes, he is not clicking but every batsman need not have a strike rate of 130-140. Someone needs to play a decent knock of strike rate 100-110 and Sangakarra is the right man. This may seem bizzare in a 20-20 format but SRH batting this season is really worrying. If someone does not hold up one end, it will be a procession as in Jaipur (remember 29 for 6). I still think de Kock needs a couple of chances to settle, afterall he is a young lad. But for this match de Kock needs to be aside and Sangakarra should be playing. So the overseas players should be Steyn, Sangakara, Perera and Sammy. Duminy in place of Sangakarra is not bad but for this particular game against a strong MI side, Sangakarra should be preferred.

  • sweet2hrme on May 1, 2013, 4:35 GMT

(Feature Comment): The kind of bowling and power hitters MI have clearly they are favorites here. SRH also have very good bowling attack so it wont be easy for MI. Where SRH is lacking ?!? Obviously in batting department and today they will be facing Malinga, Jhonson, Kulkarni, Bajji so even toughest task for SRH batsmans. When both team have better bowling attack than its difficult to predict any thing. But here comes experience and class in such cases. MI hv better experience players so they hv upper hand. I am wont expecting high scoring game but can expect MI win only becoz of their high quality players. All the best to both teams.... eger to see if any other upset is around the corner!

  • on May 1, 2013, 4:21 GMT

I think Duminy is not playing IPL this time due to injury. I did n't even see him in the dugout. So please don't include him in your teams.

  • lukecannon on May 1, 2013, 4:04 GMT

MR. Sangakkara would you please open with Dhawan and shut these crictics up with a quick 30/40 ? Thisara ,Sanga, Sammy and Steyn should be the overseas players. Period. I dont think White should get a game unless someone gets injured. True he won them a game in the superover. But hes been unconsistent. Also De kock should go home. He s a lost kid trying to run around with the big boys. Ricky ponting has failed so far but he didnt sit out. So why should Sanga sit out for Kock?

  • on May 1, 2013, 4:00 GMT

in all probables jp duminy should come in. However whom he replaces will be a question? sanga looks to be the one who hasto sit out. note that this match win will be ab big push to srh further good prospects.if they lose this it looks thei wheel is punctured and start falling down the places. Go srh. and A reddy should be given atlease an over before he comes back and bowls the last. otherwise it will be a repeat like against chennai.

  • on May 1, 2013, 3:45 GMT

Enough of the Akshath Reddy experiment. I don't understand the selections of SRH. Akshath Reddy doesn't deserve to be playing IPL in the first place. His shots are so poor. I'm afraid he gets Dhawan runout with his touch and run batting. I still don't understand the inclusion of Thalaivan Sargunam in the team against Chennai. He was poor with the bat and in the field. He ate up too many balls which made a lot of difference in the end. I would suggest SRH to send De-kock home. This kid needs lot of experience to play in the subcontinent. SRH has a good chance today if they leave Akshath out and bring back Parthiv.

  • on May 1, 2013, 3:20 GMT

This form guide is not right I'm afraid.

  • BRUTALANALYST on May 1, 2013, 3:17 GMT

Sammy has had such a great impact and so quickly especially for a guy that has never played IPl before which makes it even more amazing ! It's hard not to like the guy his enthusiasm and commitment are second to none you just end up rooting for him, I hope he can fire again tomorrow with the bat.

I think Sanga sammy perera ad styne should be the 4 oversease player For SRH.... But the problem is they are not giving them the ri8 place.... I think Sanga should open with Dhawan..... Giving Dhawan a chance to score sanga can play a quite role by scoring a run a ball And at the middle order Vihari and samantry should play well and hold the innings tight Then come Sammy perera and Reddy to start their fireworks...... This is how it should be done N.B - Last match perera got out earlier...... that is because he do not get his power when there are more ball remainig..... He is a Last 5 overs batsman..... giving his all @ the end...... So he should be use like that to take maximum out of him.....

  • rahulqew on May 1, 2013, 2:01 GMT

sanga should be out from the team if srh have to win as sanga can't play a match winning knock.... srh should bring back quinton de kock as he is the next big thing in cricket although he failed in three matches but luck is not him in last match vijay take a wonderful catch and pk bowled a very good inswinger to him...... i beleieve that q de kock can play match winning knocks which srh need...

No doubt, I feel this will be a brilliant game to watch. Both teams for me are playing well. SRH have a brilliant bowling line up, and as mentioned Sammy is a great asset to strengthen the fielding, bowling and batting. I would like to see JP Duminy in the attack as well. I would like to see them go with Steyn, Sammy, Duminy and Thisara for this game and Sammy as captain. As for the Mumbai Indians, I really want to see a big score from Tendulkar and Rahane this time instead of seeing Pollard, Sharma, Kartik and Smith doing the damage. Lasith needs to be more effective in the beginning overs as well. But all in all, I am really looking forward to this game. I'm assuming it's going to be one of those really close games like we have had through out this season in the IPL.

srh having lot of problems with their opening combination....the best way to solve that problem is by asking sangakkara to open the innings with dhawan...sanga also troubling to find his form....bt if get the oppurcunity to open the inning he will definetly going to fing his good form....i dont thing they want to make any changes to their team....br they have to make sure that their best palyers must get the most of the oppurcunity to bat.....so my batting line for this game is fellows. sharma ..1.dhawan2.sanga3patel4.perera.5.vihari6.sammy7asish8.karan9.mishra10.sharma11.styn

  • on May 1, 2013, 0:31 GMT

The SRH seem to have a curse: 130 runs. They win if they score 130 or less. Anytime the need is over 130, they lose.

  • on May 1, 2013, 0:24 GMT

SRH has had a dream" take off" in their maiden attempt probably because the sponsor is SPICE JET. SRH's bowling department is enviably strong and has variety. Get the right foreign players and give chance to the right Indian talent. Look at CSK. In the presence of international celebrities, it is Mohit an unheard name in domestic cricket that is creating ripples at the bowling crease.

  • on April 30, 2013, 23:26 GMT

    @tenfan my 11 is 1.parthiv 2.akshath 3.vihari 4.dhawan 5.sanga 6.sammy 7.perera 8.ashis reddy 9.amit mishra 10.steyn 11.ishanth sharma/karan sharma.

  • on April 30, 2013, 23:21 GMT

Sanga is a great player, but at this time its better to include Duminy to strengthen the batting. Sammy can lead the team and Patel can keep the gloves on. Steyn is perfect and Perera is at his best.

Form guide (most recent first) Sunrisers Hyderabad LWWLW Mumbai Indians WWWLL

Correction in Hyderabad it should be LLWWL

  • on April 30, 2013, 22:24 GMT

SRH need to always choose to bowl first if they win the toss, when defending totals of 160 vs teams like RCB/CSK who have good batting lineups it will be hard. So let the bowlers do the best job they can & then the batsmen will have to do their job. As I have been saying, I really think it is time to release sanga from the team. He has been awful this entire tournament, 88 runs in 6 matches with HS of 28 @ 95.65 strike rate . Last year he scored 200 runs in 12 matches with HS of 82 @ 108.69 SR. That was only 10.7 runs in 11 matches if you take HS out. This year its an avg of 12 runs in 5 games minus HS. All sanga defenders are saying he is class player & not slogger & team is asking him to score at start. Why doesnt he play like hussey? Try to play all 20 overs & be an anchor, score 20-30 runs at par SR & then go for big hits in last 3-5 overs to bring to good total. Is that too much to ask but no he gets out to bad shots just like cameron white. SRH mangaement please release sanga!

  • on April 30, 2013, 21:56 GMT

It doesn't matter which one among Sanga, Kock or White plays, they have been useless in the tournament so far and probably will be the same going forward. Sanga might be the best choice (among 3 bad choices) since he would know how how to play Malinga (hopefully). He cannot play a match winning knock though...a classic batsman like him should try to bat the 20 overs and let others around him attack.

Dhawan, Perrera and Steyn should come good against MI for them to put up a fight.

  • Sriki79 on April 30, 2013, 21:48 GMT

I still cant get over the episode of that Dhoni's catch drop by Amit and the last over being given to Ashish when Sammy had one over left. Could hurt a long way. I know..I know...Time to look forward and play to the full potential. Please do well SRH!

  • on April 30, 2013, 21:43 GMT

Mumbai are playing with 10 players instead of 11. If U know who I mean

  • on April 30, 2013, 21:19 GMT

sunrise is a strong team in ipl .there both side is strong .i think sunrise win this match.stayin is so danger for MI

  • on April 30, 2013, 21:06 GMT

Time or Sammy to be made captain and include Duminy in the side

  • ToTellUTheTruth on April 30, 2013, 20:33 GMT

Akshath and Sanga should be dropped, only to be replaced with Parthiv and White. Sanga and Akshath at the top are a liability. Sorry Sanga, I am a huge fan of yours, but I don't think T-20 is for class players like you and Punter and Sachin. It is only for Crass players like Patel and the rest.

  • Baseball-Sucks on April 30, 2013, 20:32 GMT

@aNIKE ; Be careful what you wish for. :)) Sanga may produce a match winning knock. As a cricket fan, you shouldn't be toying with a legend like Sanga. Btw we're too happy that Sachin is in the playing XI for MI. lol

  • tenfan on April 30, 2013, 20:13 GMT

@ Rethan Jogi, They can't play with 12 players, can they ? :-) So Akshath needs to be out. Order should be Parthiv,Dhawan,Sanga, Vihari, Sammy, Thisara, Ashish, Karan, Amit, Steyn, Ishant

  • aNIKE on April 30, 2013, 20:00 GMT

Keeping Sanga out is best for SRH anyways all Shrilankan players including mallinga are having bad IPL so far.. As MI fan I want Sanga in.. MI team 4 me - just 1 change, Give Dhaval Kulkarni a break.. If possible, he shuld be given break till IPL 60..

  • siddharth_r2001 on April 30, 2013, 19:41 GMT

@Rethan Jogi - wow! so you actually have 12 players in your playing 'XI' with both Steyn AND Mishra at no. 10!! looks like you think SRH will actually need 12 players to beat the XI of Mumbai Indians?

  • jozhvaa on April 30, 2013, 19:30 GMT

SRT is a weak for MI. I think it will be his last IPL

  • KingOwl on April 30, 2013, 19:22 GMT

"Moving 'randomly' in Brownian motion..." hmmm, isn't Brownian motion inherently random? But coming back to cricket: Need Sanga back, for sure. I think the leadership in his absence was mediocre.

  • ThyrSaadam on April 30, 2013, 19:17 GMT

If i was a SRH fan i would be a little worried with the lack of batting depth, but then again with the best bowling line up i guess it all works out fine. Going to be a close contest, i think its going to be interesting if SRH win the toss and bat first!

  • thinkgood on April 30, 2013, 19:17 GMT

Sunrisers will come back with a win in this match. They just need to watch out for spin bowling by Bhajji and Ojha. Go SRH !

  • ashsk143 on April 30, 2013, 19:08 GMT

A good team will never face home ground problem like AUSTRALIA in international formats...i dont think so that MI are going to suffer in hyd...best of luck rohit...hope you will make it 4 wins in a row...

  • on April 30, 2013, 19:05 GMT

sanga is the right man too lead srh. i would select team from 11. srh strength is bowling so choose your regular bowler

11.ishanth 10.steyn 10.amit mishra are sun risers regular bowlers. now allrounders 9.karan sharma 8.ashis reddy 7.perera 6.sammy so we completed our bowling department. now go to top order 1.parthiv 2.akshath 3.vihari this is my top order. dhawan should bat in middle order. the though position in batting order is 4&5. if top order set a nice platform they have to continue the way and allow next pinch hitters to do remaining thinga if top order fails then they have to repair iings. so the best batsmen in srh is dhawan nd sanga so they should bat at 4&5. let top order give a nice start nd dhawan nd sanga too continue the work untill 16overs nd then explode throw the bat very ball. if dhawan bats up inthe order he gives a nice start nd middle order fails no use. so our best have too bat at 4&5 as m.s.dhoni did for csk. our best s dhawan nd sanga.

SRH desperately need sanga to cilck...he is a batsman who changed his game in shorter format for a more attacking mode of batting.he is capable of scoring quickly too..but for some inexplicable reason he's been out of form..still he's the best to lead this team and worth another try.
