MI playing XI has been selected based on past performances of erstwhile reputed players. When Hussey failed more than two times, why not replace him.Delhi replaced Ross Taylor with Quinton De Kock. Chennai quickly replaced Ashish Nehra with less experienced Ishwar Pandey. Just compare the performances of Zaheer, Harbhajan and Ojha with other bowlers of the same category in other teams. Sandeep Sharma, Mohit Sharma and Ishwar Pandey seem to perform more effectively than Zaheer. Spinners Chahal, Karn Sharma,Negi, Jadeja and even Raina seem to perform better than Bombay spinners. Wake up Captain Rohit. Do not listen to slogans like form is temporary and class is permanent or age is no criterion for selection. Why did they bring in Ricky Ponting last time and make him sit on the bench?

Mumbai Indians owners won to know there need big hitting batsmens more in there team ...... take some hitter and try to come back... there have very telling bowler... 2014 world cup winning captain ... world Yorker specialist sling malinga .. zaheer... and bag .. there need to improve a batting order

IPL is a competition for players in the latter stages of their career. The only place youngsters belong is the reserves bench.
