A ten-wicket win on the final day at the Roshara enabled hosts Delhi keep alive their hopes of a spot in the Ranji Trophy quarter-finals. Set a target of 109 after keeping Maharashtra to 364, Delhi were eased home by their openers Virat Kohli (67*) and first-innings centurion Mithun Manhas, who was promoted up the order. Kohli hit 11 fours in his 56-ball effort, while Manhas took 49 balls for his. This win, Delhi's second in a row, has taken their points tally 15. They now need to beat Bengal in their final group fixture, starting December 15 in Kolkata, to be in the hunt for the quarters.

TP Singh, V Cheluvaraj and Yere Goud made solid contributions on the final day at the Uppal Stadium as Railways batted out a draw against hosts Hyderabad, finishing with three points. Resuming on 18 for 0, Railways ticked along through their openers Faid Fazal (49) and Cheluvaraj, who missed a century by seven runs, in a 145-run stand. Fazal fell to Mohammed Khader and later Cheluvaraj fell to the same bowler, giving Anirudh Singh his second catch of the day. TP Singh and Goud batted confidently and briskly; TP Singh's unbeaten 105 took 100 balls and Goud needed 86 balls for his 72; it was his second fifty of the match.

Orissa claimed three points from their draw against Punjab in Chandigarh. The day began with Orissa leading by 302 and they declared at 247 for 8, the wicketkeeper Halhadar Das going past his fifty. Set 354, or more probably 66 overs to bat, Punjab finished on 192 for 4, with Uday Kaul making an unbeaten 73. Despite today's single point, Punjab now share second spot with holders Mumbai with 16 points in Group A.
