Andrew Cyril Pereira died in Bombay on July 5. A right hand batsman, who could keep wicket, he played in trial matches for selection for the Indian tour of England in 1932. He played for the Rest in Bombay Pentangular for four years without much success, his tally being 31 runs in six innings. Born in Bombay on November 30, 1899, he took up journalism in 1922.
