Mahendra Singh Dhoni has won the toss and chosen to field. He talks about the dew playing a big part and that this was on his mind when he made the decision.

Sourav Ganguly, Harbhajan Signh, RP Singh and Zaheer Khan miss out, while the four cricketers who have been on the bench get a game. This means Praveen Kumar, Rohit Sharma, Murali Kartik and Sreesanth get a game.

For Pakistan, Shahid Afridi and Younis Khan are resting while Pakistan too give their youngsters a game. This means Imran Nazir finally gets a game. Kamran Akmal will sit this match out and Sarfraz Ahmed is playing in his place. There's also place for Fawad Alam.

Shoaib Malik concedes that he too would have fielded had he won the toss. He also explains that some of his players were carrying niggles and were being rested because there's an important Test series round the corner.
