Profile

Walter Attewell played one match for Nottinghamshire in 1891 but was better known as a wandering coach who worked in Philadelphia in the 1890s and, from 1906 to 1912, at Shrewsbury School where he was assisted by Neville Cardus. However, in his autobiography Cardus appears to confuse Attewell with his more famous cousin William.
