Dua, Beldev, died in Delhi on January 17, 2002, aged 65. He played for Delhi
University in the golden days when an inter-college final could attract crowds of up to 20,000, and also represented North Zone Universities as a top-order batsman with a sure pair of hands at slip. He scored nine in his one Ranji Trophy game for Delhi, in 1968-69.
