Indian Premier League - 37th match

Chennai Super Kings v Rajasthan Royals

Chennai Super Kings won by 7 wickets (with 10 balls remaining)

The Rajasthan openers are out. The fielders have taken their positions. We'll start in a bit. Albie Morkel will start proceedings for Chennai.

Both Patels are out for Rajasthan. Asnodkar comes in for Niraj Patel, and Siddharth Trivedi for Munaf. Morne Morkel makes way for Shane Harwood. Check out the XI's above.

Here's an incentive to get you all hooked into the IPL. Join the IPL fantasy league. It's loads of fun and addictive. There are two versions of this for the IPL (Salary cap and Pick 'em). Check it out.

Rajasthan have won the toss and opted to bat. Warne thinks around 160 is a par score. He made sure he emphasised that Chennai don't chase well, a nice dig at the opposition before the start. Dhoni says the pressure is on Rajasthan to set a target. The pitch is a little slow, so spin will again feature big. For Chennai, M Vijay and Jacob Oram are back, and out go George Bailey and Manpreet Gony. We'll get you the XI's shortly. Ravi Shastri forgot to ask Warne about the changes in his team, he should have.

Hello and welcome to Cricinfo's coverage of the second game of the day, between Chennai Super Kings and Rajasthan in Kimberley. The earlier game was an absolute cracker, with Punjab sneaking home against Deccan by three wickets. Hopefully, this one, with two teams placed at No.2 and 3, will offer something similar.

0.1

Morkel to Smith, 1 run, an inswinging yorker first up, at 134.7 kmph, Graeme Smith just managed to dig it out, got a thick inside edge to fine leg, caught his South African team-mate by surprise there, nicely handled in the end

0.2

Morkel to Ojha, no run, good length on the off, gets forward and drives it to cover off the front foot

0.3

Morkel to Ojha, OUT, timber, bowled at around 137 kmph, bowled on a length on middle and off, moved away a touch, Ojha had made room, too much in hindsight and failed to make contact as it zipped through to crash into offstump.

Rajasthan need to step up now. Chennai have bowled well to keep them on a leash, and though Asnodkar provided some entertainment, going at just about 6-an-over on a pitch where 169 had been chased down earlier in the day is not great going. Yusuf Pathan is still out there, but they can't wait it out for him to do the job. One of these two will have to push hard once play resumes.

Warne had said at the time of the toss that a score of 160 was about par. They've fallen 20 short here, and mainly due to losing wickets at crucial times. Ojha fell very early, and Smith followed when he was set. Jadeja was out when he'd gotten into the groove, and Yusuf's dismissal in the 16th over saved Chennai a good 20-odd runs. The pitch is slow and taking spin, so the chase may not be all that easy. Still, Chennai have a formidable line-up. Join us in a bit to see if they make it to No.1 here
