Profile

Amit Singh, a right-arm medium-pacer for Gujarat, came into prominence when he was signed on by the Rajasthan Royals for the second edition of the IPL in South Africa. With only 15 first-class games to his credit, Amit became another pace bowler to be praised by Rajasthan captain-coach Shane Warne, and backed up the claims by taking seven wickets in two games. His figures of 4 for 19 against Bangalore Royal Challengers earned him the Man-of-the-Match award.
