Indian Premier League - 2nd match

Mumbai Indians v Rajasthan Royals

Mumbai Indians won by 4 runs

2.55 pm: So we'll have Sachin Tendulkar against Shaun Tait shortly, and if Tendulkar survives/hits Tait out of the attack, we'll have Tendulkar vs Warne.

"Wonder if the speed guns will clock Tait as fast as the ones in Australia over the summer did. Watching a fast bowler send down a thunderbolt at 160kmh in India is worth going to the stadium for," says Vikram.

Mascarenhas is opening the bowling. Jayasuriya to face. Tendulkar at non-striker's end. Game on.

2.45 pm: Rajasthan's overseas players are Warne, Graeme Smith, Dimitri Mascarenhas and Shaun Tait. No Damien Martyn. Kamran Khan is back, no Munaf Patel or Siddharth Trivedi. The complete XI will be up shortly.

Mumbai Indians are the first team to play less than four overseas players. Jayasuriya, Ryan McLaren and Lasith Malinga will play. Duminy is injured, Pollard and Bravo aren't here yet, and Napier is on the bench. Surprisingly Abhishek Nayar isn't playing. It's a sweltering day in Mumbai.

All you Twitter users can get wicket alerts directly to your mobile phone. A welcome distraction on a dull day at work for sure. Or not, if your team is batting.

2.30 pm: Bishop is towering over Tendulkar while interviewing him. I reckon Tendulkar reaches Bishop's shoulders! The new Rajasthan jersey isn't so hot, and Warne tells us to watch out for Jhunjhunwala and Paras Dogra.

Warne calls heads, it's a tail and Tendulkar says Mumbai will bat. JP Duminy's not yet fit so he won't be playing today. We'll have the teams for you in a moment.

2.25 pm: Welcome to Cricinfo's coverage of the second game of the IPL 2010, between Mumbai Indians and Rajasthan Royals. The toss will take place in about five minutes. I'm looking forward to a couple of battles today, Tendulkar v Tait (which the spin doctor Shane Warne advertised on Twitter) and Tendulkar v Warne himself.

The general feeling is that Rajasthan are underdogs but I don't agree entirely. They have a stronger overseas contingent for this game, and Yusuf Pathan is in cracking form.
