Indian Premier League - 11th match

Delhi Daredevils v Chennai Super Kings

Chennai Super Kings won by 5 wickets (with 5 balls remaining)

3.58pm Warner on strike, umpire Doctrove calls 'play'

3.45pm Neel from India sends in the first feedback of the day: "Something strange in this match is that a Chennaite is leading Delhi and a Delhite (Ghaziabad is in NCR) leading the Chennai team." A couple of minutes later he adds: "Ganapathy would have been a better choice than Joginder. He lends solidity to the batting now that CSK is missing Dhoni."

Chennai fans don't seem too pleased with the team composition. Abhishek Vasudevan wants Hemang Badani to be included, Madhan R is not sure why Gony was replaced, while Joahack wants the Sri Lankan Perera to be chosen.

Some Delhi supporters aren't thrilled that Maharoof has been dropped, but others like Umesh are thrilled at the chance to see Warner and Sehwag open the innings.

3.30pm Karthik says it's a great honour to lead the side, he has experience leading both Tamil Nadu and South Zone in the domestic circuit. Raina, though, is the youngest person to captain in the IPL. "We are definitely missing Dhoni, but we have players like Hayden, Kemp and Morkel."

Danny Morrison says the pitch is "full of runs". Not much of a surprise there. Delhi chose to bat. Three changes to the side Karthik says, David Warner for Gambhir, Vidarbha seamer Umesh Yadav for Farveez Maharoof, and he can't remember the third.

Chennai have also made some changes. World Twenty20 last-over hero Joginder Sharma comes in for Manpreet Gony, and Parthiv Patel takes the place of Dhoni. We are still awaiting the full team lists.

The third change for Delhi is that legspinner Sarabjit Ladda makes way for allrounder Rajat Bhatia.

3.25pm Hello and welcome to the 11th match of the season, between Delhi Daredevils and Chennai Super Kings at the Feroz Shah Kotla. Both teams are missing their regular captains, and a couple of youngsters are leading the sides today, Suresh Raina and Dinesh Karthik.
