Indian Premier League, 52nd match: Royal Challengers Bangalore v Mumbai Indians at Bangalore, Apr 17, 2010
Mumbai Indians won by 57 runs
17 April 2010 - day/night match (20-over match)

Toss has been delayed Some loud noise was heard near the stadium. Apparently originated in Generator room. Not sure, though. The players were asked to get back to the dressing room for ten minutes and now they are back. Toss has been delayed.

I just spoke to an official from the Mumbai team. He sounded pretty calm and said that team was briefed about "couple of loud noises" and asked to get back to the dressing room. And now they are back going through their warm-ups."

Anil Kumble is walking around with Ray Jennings. The teams are practicing near the boundary ropes.Outside the stadium, Policemen are trying to get the situation under control. Sniffer dogs are out doing what they do.

-----------

The players have got back to the dressing room. More updates coming in now.

Mr Shankar Bidari, the city Police Commissioner, gave a brief statement: "At about 3.15 pm a minor blast has taken place in the wall adjacent to the gate no 12 of the stadium. Four constables were hurt - two were minor injuries. One security guard has been hurt seriously. It appears that some explosives may have been hidden in the wall . There is no cause for panic. The game will go on. The bomb-experts are investigating. Perhaps, the explosives were placed behind a plastic board which was on the board. It was a single-brick wall. The explosives weren't powerful."

No news yet of the start of the game The toss has not happenned yet obviously. Please hold on for more news. They are saying the game won't be canceled and it will be held in some time. The bomb-experts are at work. Hmmm....
