A spot of selection duties is about all that is left for Lindsay Crocker, New Zealand's recently appointed team manager, to do to complete his cricket involvement. A former first-class player for Northern Districts, for whom he scored 2663 runs at 27.45 in his 54-match career as an opening batsman, he became involved in administration and was Auckland's chief executive for seven years before taking on the management position in the New Zealand side.
