Mazhar-ul-Haq was a seam bowler who played three first-class matches for Pakistan Railways in a career spanning seven seasons. On his debut in 1953-54 he failed to take a wicket but returned impressive figures of 20-11-20-0; in his second outing the following season he took 2 for 45, his only first-class wickets, in an innings defeat. His final appearance was in 1960-61 when he was only allowed three overs late in the second innings.
