aside from South Africa the other international sides England are due to play against after the home & away Ashes series are against teams that are too easily beaten when they visit England and too easily overhauled by England even after having won the first match of a 3 or 4 match series.

England have lost the opening match and are fighting with their back to the wall in the Dunedin Test. From here the Ashes looks a long way away and suddenly the Australians playing hopelessly in India have reasons to be optimistic.

Sir,

Let's just focus on Kiwi series for now. England have not got to the best of starts in the test series. They have also lost the tour match and that must be very embarrassing for the team.

I wonder why cannot England cricket team and its media think beyond Ashes ? Even if the series against Kiwis is in progress, England cant think enough of Ashes. It is very rude and belittling of other teams.

And if they continue to do so, a series loss shall be very much welcome.
