dhoni is a very good one day skipper but his leadership in test matches leaves a lot to be desired.even his selection seems to defies logic.if india has to play a spinner in newzealand it has to be amit mishra,in my opinion our best spinning option.allowing slip fielders to stand too far to medium pacers, and to do nothing to stop our bowlers from bowling bouncers at snail's pace.he should have gone for a 4th seamer in bhuvaneshwar kumar, our best swing bowling option, if he were not to pick a spinner.the best india can hope in this test match is to come even and i can assure you it is not an easy task.i do not think high of dhoni's technique as a batsman in overseas conditions and it is suspect to say the least.i sincerely hope and pray that dhoni proves me wrong. jithender mehra

Dhoni is a very good captain. During his tenure, India rose to the top in all types of ranking. Every team is going through bad period. This is one of them especially in overseas. When India is back at home on Flat Pitches, they will be kings. They at last saved one ODI from 5. If Dhoni was not the captain, it would have been ZIP.

Can the selector sack Dhoni as captain in the middle of a Test match? If so Dhoni should be replaced by Kohli as captain to prevent india defeat in this match. Dhoni has no strategy and he is a predictable captain. He have not taken any responsibility so far for the mega failure of the indian team, instead he blamed the bowling and batting when india clearly has talented pools of players for any condition.
