Lets support the BCCI, Indian selectors and Dhoni to groom players like Ishant for cricket to flourish in India.
Strike bowler of top ranked team having an average of ~39 and strike rate of ~70 saying he is good and bowling well and need not worry sums it all
when ishant is the day's best bowler there is no need to mention about how good the day was!
@LongLiveTestCricket, couldn't have put it any better. Lame excuses as always. Indian Cricket needs genuine wicket taking fast bowlers if they want to succeed overseas else it will be humiliation as they are facing right now.
Oh really ? Then why try to even take catches !!! Now you would say , losing all the tests and one-dayers outside the sub-continent is also part of the game !!! Well , he can say anything because he knows that he will play in another 50 tests no matter if takes wickets at all or not . That's part of the game !!!!
Since when? It is always considered an unprofessional stupid mistake especially when it happens repeatedly in Tests. You can control it with practice. These were all Dhoni type answers indicating nothing is wrong with anything. Everytime it can't be possible that either pitch has became better, opposition batsmen played exceptionally well, bowlers were unlucky despite bowling in right areas. Give me one single area such as economy rate, accuracy of pace or spin bowling where the performance was good. Unfortunately, in this Dhoni era, defending mediocrity has become the norm and we unfortunate fans are left to be frustrated time and again.
