  • Overs 51-100

I Sharma to Rutherford, OUT, Vijay holds on at first slip! The short ball is directed much, much better this time! Rutherford could not evade the line of this and was committed into playing. Got his hands very high up and when he was looking to leave he just couldn't. The bounce was steeper than he expected and he gloves it to the cordon. India strike and it's that enigma Ishant again!

HD Rutherford c Vijay b I Sharma 12 (40m 34b 2x4 0x6) SR: 35.29

New Zealand 23/1   PG Fulton 10* (24b)   I Sharma 1.3-0-1-1

I Sharma to Fulton, OUT, the finger goes up! Ishant has trapped Fulton leg before! Struck below the knee-roll as this fuller length ball secures some inward movement off the deck. He was slow on the shot and had to play around his front pad as well, which had been plonked right across his stumps. Straight forward decision for umpire Steve Davis. What a spell!

PG Fulton lbw b I Sharma 13 (49m 31b 0x4 0x6) SR: 41.93

New Zealand 26/2   KS Williamson 0* (4b)   I Sharma 2.2-1-1-2

I Sharma to Latham, OUT, gone for a duck on debut! Nicks off to the keeper and New Zealand in big trouble early again. Excellent line from Ishant as this is pitched just back of a length on middle and seams away. Latham had to play at it, only he pushed with hands that were a bit too hard. Simple catch to the keeper

TWM Latham c †Dhoni b I Sharma 0 (10m 8b 0x4 0x6) SR: 0.00

New Zealand 26/3   KS Williamson 0* (10b)   I Sharma 3.4-2-1-3

Mohammed Shami to McCullum, OUT, Jadeja looks a bit bemused as he clings to this at mid-off. How soft was that! Wasn't quite to the pitch of this full delivery on off stump but he's been driving quite well in this little innings and backed himself. But he could not keep the ball down and nor could he place it properly. Straight into the hands of the fielder, if a little above his head. Jaddu was actually worried about the backdrop of the crowd, but he was good enough to still catch it. McCullum stares at the pitch as he walks off. Is it a bit two-paced?

BB McCullum c Jadeja b Mohammed Shami 8 (43m 19b 1x4 0x6) SR: 42.10

New Zealand 45/4   KS Williamson 11* (42b)   Mohammed Shami 6.1-1-17-1

I Sharma to Anderson, OUT, inside edge balloons off his pads and goes through to gully! He was off his feet and cramped for room while playing the flick over the leg side field. Can't get his timing right and he has to walk back. Ishant has done it again!

CJ Anderson c Kohli b I Sharma 24 (57m 43b 3x4 1x6) SR: 55.81

New Zealand 84/5   KS Williamson 21* (71b 1x4)   I Sharma 10.4-2-25-4

I Sharma to Watling, OUT, Ishant has five and over the moon about it. Lovely delivery, rose off a length as Watling came forward to block. Touch of away movement as well as the ball clips the shoulder of the bat and goes through to Rohit who clings to it above his head. Out for a duck

BJ Watling c RG Sharma b I Sharma 0 (7m 4b 0x4 0x6) SR: 0.00

New Zealand 86/6   KS Williamson 23* (77b 1x4)   I Sharma 11.2-3-25-5

Mohammed Shami to Williamson, OUT, Rohit claims the catch at second slip and it was a good one too, diving low to his left! Not so lucky on the third time he gets an edge. Excellent line from Shami as he probes the off stump corridor and snares the outside edge as this back of a length ball straightens after pitching

KS Williamson c RG Sharma b Mohammed Shami 47 (167m 100b 6x4 0x6) SR: 47.00

New Zealand 133/7   JDS Neesham 21* (22b 4x4)   Mohammed Shami 13.4-4-45-2

Mohammed Shami to Neesham, OUT, another ungainly shot, or rather no shot, and this one leads to his wicket! Was a little late in deciding to leave this length ball around the off stump corridor and it runs off the face of his bat to the keeper

JDS Neesham c †Dhoni b Mohammed Shami 33 (59m 35b 7x4 0x6) SR: 94.28

New Zealand 165/8   TG Southee 18* (12b 1x4 1x6)   Mohammed Shami 15.5-4-63-3

I Sharma to Southee, OUT, there's his sixth. Southee, who had walked across to the off side, gets a leading edge to a full toss on middle as he tries to whip it through the leg side. M Vijay has to come forward and dive to pick up a very good, low catch

TG Southee c Vijay b I Sharma 32 (40m 32b 1x4 3x6) SR: 100.00

New Zealand 184/9   N Wagner 4* (9b)   I Sharma 16.3-3-50-6

Mohammed Shami to Boult, OUT, oh, what a catch! That's Pujara's second grab at short leg, but the last one was off a no-ball. Shami gets the short ball right this time as he makes Boult fend off the back foot. The ball goes reasonably sharply to the man close in but Pujara dived to his left and held on wonderfully well

TA Boult c Pujara b Mohammed Shami 2 (8m 5b 0x4 0x6) SR: 40.00

New Zealand 192/10   N Wagner 5* (12b)   Mohammed Shami 16.5-4-70-4
