7.6 to JM How, How tragic! How has picked Umar Akmal at the midwicket fence with pin-point accuracy. Almost scientific precision. Short ball, it was there for the pull and How connected cleanly. That seemed headed for a flat six, but Umar was waiting with glee.. 44/2

6.4 to MJ Guptill, nicely taken by Younis at short midwicket. Guptill is dismissed again the run of play, in extremely soft fashion. He shakes his head in disappointment, he's missed out on a pitch full of runs. Riaz wisely lands another one short of driving length and Guptill stays back in the crease and looks to work it to the leg side. He can't keep it completely down, though, and Younis was on the move even as he played the shot, tumbling to his left to take a neat catch.. 40/1
8.3 to LRPL Taylor, three wickets in three overs, New Zealand are disintegrating. And like the previous two, this is another wicket gifted away. Riaz explores a fuller length, lands it enticingly for the drive outside off and Taylor takes him on, attempting the big booming cover drive. He was so eager to get four, he did not get across enough and just threw his hands at it. The result was a thick outside edge that flew to Younis at slip.. 44/3
32.2 to BB McCullum, got 'em! Riaz with the breakthrough, it was a length delivery angled across Baz, who pushed at it inside the line with an angled bat, and Kamran happily gobbled the outside edge, Baz was looking good here, but has got out to a soft dismissal, well at least he has continues the trend. 141/6

20.3 to KS Williamson, KW combusts now. He jumps out of the crease, but is fooled in the flight and doesn't get to the pitch. He looks to go through with the loft down the ground, but can't make a clean connection. Who else by Younis Khan at long on to snaffle the mis-hit. New Zealand are ticking off all the bad shots in the book today.. 79/5

43.4 to JEC Franklin, Franklin departs, goes for the big swing over square leg, and hits it straight down the throat of Riaz at deep backward square leg, but he's got NZ past 200, how much more can they get?. 205/7

8.3 to Mohammad Hafeez, Rosco has taken a blinder, it was forced away off the back foot, the outside edge flew fast and over Taylor at first slip, who leaped in the air with one hand outstretched, and brought down the ball with him. 43/1
46.5 to Abdul Razzaq, The game seesaws once again. Pakistan lose another wicket in the Powerplay. Bennett keeps it full, but not full enough to stop Razzaq. He gets under it and looks to launch it over the off side, but it hits very low on the bat and as a result, is scooped up high into the Napier night. When it came down, Vettori was under it.. 238/7

42.1 to Umar Akmal, and Umar perishes! His listless innings may be crucial in the end analysis. He backs away to the leg side. Vettori sees him going and fires it full aiming at the pads. Umar manages to still get beside the line and tries to carve it inside out. He is too close to the ball to get it over the circle and plays it straight into a tumbling extra cover's hands.. 194/5
42.3 to Shahid Afridi, Boom Boom goes bust. Vettori has nailed him and this game might be turning around here. Afridi goes the other way this time, walks across to off stump and looks for the sweep. Vettori sticks to his guns and lands it full and in line with middle and leg. Afridi failed to connect and it hit him in front of middle and leg. He's not very pleased with the decision though. It hit the back leg, that seemed adjacent. 198/6

13.4 to Ahmed Shehzad, Styris gets the breakthrough, it was the seemingly gentle and harmless length delivery, Shehzad got lulled into a false sense of calmness and ended up flicking it straight to short midwicket, Kamran looks shocked, Shehzad was batting so well. 71/2
17.4 to Kamran Akmal, well, well, Kamran has somehow managed to pick out Rosco at short midwicket, it was fuller on the stumps and he looked to go for the sweep, but hit it in the air to Taylor, who cannot believe his good fortune as he takes the dolly. 84/3
47.5 to Wahab Riaz, Oh Riaz! What has he done here? Short of length at friendly pace outside off, he goes down on a knee and looks for an ugly hoick across the line. The shot was so not on. He was so not in the position to pull it off. Top edge, balloons up to the right of Brendon McCullum who trots back and pouches it easily.. 250/8
