6.3 to Mohammad Hafeez, oh, Hafeez! What have you done! Mills keeps it well short of a length as he has most of the morning. A foot or so outside off. Hafeez could have left it. Or cut it, if he wanted to be adventurous. Or steered it, if he wanted a single. What does he do? He drives. On the up. With his feet miles away from the ball. What happens? It lobs up in the air, straight to mid off.. 20/1
46.4 to Abdul Razzaq, New Zealand are making the batting Powerplay work against Pakistan here. Razzaq falls now. Length ball, it was there for the loft over long off and Razzaq made decent connection, but could not clear the boundary rider.. 252/7

45.5 to Shahid Afridi, Afridi gone, this is a big wicket in the context of the game with 4.1 overs to go. Short ball, around off stump, and Afridi looks to fore-hand cross-court it down the ground. He ends up top-edging it the shot and it is an easy catch for long on running in. Over to Razzaq and Umar now.. 248/6
49.6 to Umar Gul, surprise, surprise! Gul has connected. But sadly for Pakistan, he's holed out. Short of a length, outside off, Gul manages to get a good piece of it as he stays back and carves over the off side. He finds the man sweeping square on the off side. Pakistan's last five overs have yielded 25/4.. 268/9

25.4 to Younis Khan, you can travel miles and watch a lot of cricket, but it's unlikely you will see a softer dismissal, or one that is more against the run of play than this one. Nathan lands this on middle and leg and it is harmlessly turning further down. Younis sets himself up for a sweep and he was likely just looking for a single, but he misread the length a touch and got a top edge. It balloons up, straight into square leg's hands, who was standing some distance in. Pakistan have gifted all three wickets today.. 120/3

37.4 to Ahmed Shehzad, end of a memorable innings. Shehzad has perished in his attempt to hit another six. Fuller length from Styris, Shehzad was lining up the stands at deep midwicket, but he got too far under it. Ended up scooping it high and when it came down, James Franklin was there to take the steepler. Pakistan in complete charge, all the same. What an innings.. 197/4
39.4 to Misbah-ul-Haq, Misbah is gone. Never quite looked the part today - rare off-day for him on tour. Looks for the loft over the leg side again, going well deep in the crease as it is angled into his body. He was in position for the shot, but did not make a clean connection. It is lofted harmlessly towards deep square leg for a smart tumbling catch by Oram. He seemed to have over-run the ball as he moved to his right, but adjusted well with the hands to pouch it just above the turf. 205/5

23.6 to MJ Guptill, and a wicket out of nowhere. Guptill's thrown it away. Short ball, it was there for the pull, but considering Shoaib's extra pace, he may have wanted to keep it down. Instead, Guptill went aerial. And holed out to the man at deep midwicket. It was a very good bouncer mind you, effort in that ball, just outside off, and caught Guptill by surprise and he was actually not looking at the ball when he played it.. 112/3
8.505135.77222151
12.6 to JM How, Jamie's agonising stay at the crease gets out with a shot that typified the innings. It was just back of a length, not the right delivery for the pull, but Jamie's built so much pressure on himself, he resorted to his favourite shot to effect the jailbreak. He stayed on the crease and looked to pull/swing it in the air over midwicket. Alas, it got big on him as he went for the shot and the top edge popped up towards deep midwicket. All over for How.. 53/2
42.3 to JEC Franklin, The last time I saw a left-arm green shirt bowl those thunder yorkers was when Wasim Akram was still playing. Riaz has produced a missile here and Franklin's done well to protect his toes. No such luck for the furniture. 143 kph, from the moment Riaz released it, this was headed only one place - base of middle and off. Riaz knew it. Franklin knew it. He moved the feet to the leg side and played all over it, mostly in hope. Stumps are crashed. Riaz roars. Spectacular.. 194/7
46.5 to HK Bennett, Pakistan have won the series in style. Take a bow! Riaz has finished it off with one back of a length outside off, Bennett hangs back and looks to steer it square. Inside edge thuds into the stumps.. 227/10
702824.00253000
43.5 to JDP Oram, Oram's gone, and the screws are tightening here. Unlucky in a sense, he picked long on with inch-perfect precision. Backs away to the leg side again, Gul tries to york him but it is just off the mark, so Oram gets under it and times the lofted swing pretty well. Just not good enough to clear the ropes. 207/8
45.2 to NL McCullum, Nathan's perambulations at the crease come to an end. Again moves across to outside off stump before getting the front foot across to play the lap shot. Gul responds with a slow offcutter at 122 kph. Nathan did not make good contact with it, he seemed to play it onto the stumps.. 222/9
1005525.50225000
29.3 to BB McCullum, McCullum is gone in a mad swoosh into the Hamilton night. Afridi flights this one on middle and leg and gets it to turn ever so slightly. McCullum moved the front foot across and looked to hack high and across the line. He ended up getting a top edge that just went straight up and was taken safely at long on. 131/4
41.5 to LRPL Taylor, Captain gets captain. Finally an lbw goes Pakistan's way. Afridi slowed this one up through the air, landed it on middle and off. Taylor set himself up for the big booming slog sweep and missed. It did not look as plumb as the previous one, but umpire David upheld this after a good look. Afridi puts his hands up, he wanted that one. Taylor has a smile of resignation as he heads back. Replays say it was just clipping the top of off and middle.. 192/6
