Zimbabwe tour of New Zealand, 2nd T20I: New Zealand v Zimbabwe at Hamilton, Feb 14, 2012
New Zealand won by 5 wickets (with 2 balls remaining)
14 February 2012 - night match (20-over match)

Hello and welcome to our live coverage of the final match of Zimbabwe's tour of New Zealand, the 2nd Twenty20 International from Seddon Park in Hamilton.

The South Africans have already arrived in New Zealand on the weekend and have begun training at the Basin Reserve in Wellington ahead of their warm-up Twenty20 against Canterbury tomorrow at Hagley Oval in Christchurch to raise funds for the Christchurch earthquake appeal. Safe to say that the New Zealand cricket media's attention (as well as that of the fans) has turned to that match before this tour is even over. Can Zimbabwe spring a shock tonight and remind the locals that they are still here?

The toss has been won by Zimbabwe who have chosen to bat first. Forster Mutizwa is left out after his horror night in Auckland and Stuart Matsikenyeri comes in for him.

For New Zealand, Martin Guptill (who has a minor leg niggle) and Doug Bracewell sit out. Andrew Ellis is in for his T20I debut and Tim Southee comes back into the side as well. Suggestions that James Franklin will open the batting in Guptill's place tonight.

While the build-up continues, do check out the preview by Kanishkaa Balachandran.

Avi Singh with you on commentary tonight, Venkat Raghav manning the scoring and Andrew Fernando will be providing match reports throughout. The Twitterers among you can follow me @MannerOfSpeakin, and Raghav @raghavitis.

Also worth having a peek at is a guest column by Andrew Alderson from the Herald on Sunday on six lessons New Zealand can take from this series.

Zimbabwe have made their highest total in Twenty20 Internationals tonight thanks to displays of clean hitting from their top order. Hamilton Masakadza and the skipper Taylor batted serenely to reach half-centuries while Elton Chigumbura and Stuart Matsikenyeri did their bit with quickfire knocks. New Zealand's bowling struggled to hit a decent length, and they are left with a stiff chase. Zimbabwe can sniff a victory as New Zealand face the pressure of potential defeat for the first time on the tour. Who will hold their nerve? Join us shortly to find out.

Rogan Templer: "After the horror shows over this last month its really pleasing to see the guys show they are capable of playing cricket, hope the bowling and fielding is as clinical."

Harry: "200/2 (20.0/20 ov) -- what a lovely scorecard it reads..way to go and this is called 20-20 match."
