27 February 2009 - night match (20-over match)

O'Brien to Sehwag, FOUR, now the timing's perfect, half volley asking to be slammed over mid-off and Sehwag gets the elevation and the ball zooms through the air

India 9/0   V Sehwag 6* (2b 1x4)   IE O'Brien 0.3-0-7-0

O'Brien to Sehwag, FOUR, holds the length back but it doesn't help the bowler as Sehwag plays a tennis-like forehand over mid-off, in fact it was wide of the fielder comfortably, not the best shot but effective enough

India 13/0   V Sehwag 10* (4b 2x4)   IE O'Brien 0.5-0-11-0

Southee to Sehwag, FOUR, goes for a wild flat-batted whack and the elevation is just enough to beat Vettori at mid-off who leaps up to pull off a one-handed blinder, looked like Sehwag was trying to swat a mosquito

India 20/0   V Sehwag 16* (7b 3x4)   TG Southee 1.3-0-8-0

Southee to Sehwag, FOUR, directs a short of a length ball on the body and he whips it high over square leg, fine leg runs across in despair

India 24/0   V Sehwag 20* (9b 4x4)   TG Southee 1.5-0-12-0

Southee to Sehwag, FOUR, take that! He seizes another short ball and pulls this with more control, the ball lands just inches short of the deep square-leg rope

India 28/0   V Sehwag 24* (10b 5x4)   TG Southee 2-0-16-0

O'Brien to Yuvraj Singh, FOUR, simply exquisite, Yuvraj stays at the crease and effortlessly scoops a half volley over mid-off, the follow through was excellent

India 41/2   Yuvraj Singh 5* (5b 1x4)   IE O'Brien 2.2-0-17-1

O'Brien to Yuvraj Singh, FOUR, toys with the bowler by giving himself room before delivery, O'Brien errs by following him and pitching it up, enough for Yuvraj to mow it past mid-on

India 45/2   Yuvraj Singh 9* (8b 2x4)   IE O'Brien 2.5-0-21-1

Ryder to Yuvraj Singh, FOUR, goes for a wild across the line swipe but he gets a thick under edge past the stumps and short fine leg, not the best boundary of the evening

India 70/3   Yuvraj Singh 29* (24b 3x4 1x6)   JD Ryder 1.3-0-8-0

Butler to Dhoni, FOUR, and finally Dhoni breaks the shackles, he gets a nice short delivery which sits up and he swings it away past midwicket, that should make him feel a lot better

India 107/5   MS Dhoni 12* (19b 1x4)   IG Butler 2.5-0-24-2

Southee to Jadeja, FOUR, gets a half volley on the off stump and Jadeja does well to make enough room and slay it over deep point, he plays with an angled bat and gets the elevation

India 121/5   RA Jadeja 19* (15b 1x4 1x6)   TG Southee 2.4-0-28-0

Butler to Dhoni, FOUR, he clubs a full toss off the meat of the bat and the ball travels quickly to deep midwicket, Broom sprints and gets a hand to the ball but he can only palm it away to the rope

India 140/6   MS Dhoni 27* (29b 2x4)   IG Butler 3.3-0-33-2
