7.2 to MS Atapattu, Revenge! Atapattu falls after promising much more than 28. Soft dismissal. Fullish, on the legs, Atapattu flicks, in the air, and straight to the man standing behind square-leg. He fell over a touch while trying to balance on his front foot and as a result he skewed it in the air. Atapattu is quite distraught with himself. He was looking so good out there but that's that. Sri Lanka lose their second wicket. Kumar Sangakkara is the new man in.. 32/2
11.6 to KC Sangakkara, Very sharp catch by Taylor. Huge wicket. Man-in-form Sangkkara falls. Short and on the middle and leg, Sangakkara leans back and pulls. It flew low towards Taylor, at square-leg, who bent low in front of him to scoop the ball inches above the ground.. 50/3
13.5 to WU Tharanga, What a acrobatic catch by McCullum! New Zealand are right on top here. IT was banged in short, down the legside, Tharanga goes for a pull and the ball runs off the face of the bat and it could well have been a four if not for McCullum. He flung himself to his right, like a goalkeeper, to pull off a stunner. Super catch that. And Sri Lanka slip into further trouble.. 55/4
15.6 to LPC Silva, Mason nails another victim! He is on fire here. Cons the batsman with slight change of pace. Short of length and Chamara de Silva just went through the line, on the up but only ended up patting it back to Mason who bent low, in front, to take a simple catch. New Zealand are all over Sri Lanka like a rash. Especially Mason.. 61/5

1.2 to ST Jayasuriya, Bond nails Jayasuriya! What a start for NZ! Excellent delivery. It landed on a length, around the offstump line, sucking Jayasuriya into a forward prod. He had to play at it and he did. The ball shaped away, took a bit of outside edge and flew to left of McCullum who took off in the air to take a smart catch.. 0/1

34.6 to M Muralidaran, Murali tries to stand and deliver but Taylor, at deep midwicket, dives and delivers. Another swing across the line but Taylor takes his third catch. And then there were just one.. 112/9

33.5 to MF Maharoof, Another one bites the dust. Loopy delivery, well outside the offstump and Maharoof tries to fetch it from there and attempts a sweep shot. nicks it behind. Bad shot selection.. 99/8
35.2 to PDRL Perera, Sri Lanka have collapsed for 112. Tossed up, outside off, sliced straight to backward point. That caps up a dismal show. This is Sri Lanka's lowest total ever against New Zealand. Home and away.. 112/10

0.3 to NJ Astle, Early strike! good length ball outside off stump, nipping in off the wicket, Astle moves forward and tries to square-drive, gets a big inside edge onto the stumps. 1/1
503727.40193310
1.4 to LRPL Taylor, What a catch! Dilshan takes a beauty at backward point. Or does he? Taylor is squared-up pushing forward in defence at a delivery slanted away from him. The ball flies off the outer edge and to left of Dilshan who dives to low to his left, scoops up the ball on his left-hand,. it bobs up and Dilshan, now lying on his back, grabs it off the second attempt. Umpires have a chat and give it out. Replays tell a different story. When the ball bobbed up from the left palm, it touched the grass when Dilshan tried to grab it! Hmm........ The umpires didn't refer it upstairs and that's that. 8/2
3.6 to BB McCullum, Gone! Got im! McCullum perishes, trying to attack. Full and wide, McCullum, doesn't quite lean on to the shot, drives and sends it straight to Chamara Silva at cover. Silva timed his jump perfectly to take a neat catch. NZ three down and game on! We have another 10 minutes before the lunch break. 27/3

13.4 to JAH Marshall, The drama continues! New Zealand lose their fifth wicket. Tossed up on the off and middle stump line, Marshall leans forward, sweeps but fails to keep it down and sends it straight to Dilshan at square-leg. The rollercoaster ride at the Jade stadium is on full swing. Game on still.. 65/5
6.303425.23286100
8.3 to DL Vettori, Another wicket! The drama continues at the Jade stadium. Vettori goes for a pull shot, top-edges it over and behind Sangakkara who runs back, waits for the swirling ball to come down and holds a tumbling catch. Another 64 runs, another 6 wickets!. 51/4
14.3 to HJH Marshall, Would you believe it? Another wicket has gone down on this strange strange day of cricket. And then there were four. Dragged back to the stumps. Short of length, outside off, Marshall stabs at it and ends up killing himself. The ball goes on the top of the middle stump. He tries desperately to prevent the mishap but the ball beats him. What drama here!. 70/6
