Dr. Charles Molesworth Tuke, born at Chiswick on May 23, 1857, died on January 24, after a long illness, aged 67. In Scores and Biographies it was said of him: " Is a very fast round-armed bowler 'with a whip from the wrist'; an average bat, and fields generally at short slip or cover point." In 1882 he appeared, though not with much success, in seven matches for Middlesex.
