Bermuda , Canada and the USA completed easy wins on day two of the ICC Americas Region Under-19 Championship in Toronto.
Bermuda put up a modest 218 for 9 in their 50 overs, with Regino Smith (34) and Deunte Darrell (33) the main contributors, and then bowled Cayman Islands out for 103. Joshua Gilbert led the way with 3 for 25.
Canada put the Bahamas in to bat and had few hassles dismissing them for 118. Nitesh Kumar (3 for 18), Riayzhan Pathan (2 for 19) and Hiral Patel (2 for 27) turned in impressing outings. Chasing a small target, Patel rallied Canada's top order with his second half-century in two games and picked up the Man-of-the-Match award in a nine-wicket win.
USA also completed a nine-wicket victory over Argentina. Argentia batted first and made 116 in 34 overs with their captain Alejo Tissera top-scoring with 35. Talha Zamir took 4 for 21. In reply Ryan Corns thumped an unbeaten 58 with eight fours and two sixes and Henry Wardley made 37 not out.
