comon... its not about hindi/urdu 'shart'. On stumps day3 of Abu Dhabi test, Boycs said he was so sure of Englands win that he would bet his house on it. For his utmost disappointment, Eng lost miserably on day 4.

@Shuvrules95: "To lose one's shirt" is an English expression to mean losing all your money and possessions (typically on an unsound financial investment, like betting, or speculative stocks). So, you see, if you bet the house on a game and lose your shirt in the process, you have only yourself to blame.

I got it! One must know hindi to understand this. "SHIRT" meaning "shart", shart in Hindi means "bet"! Geoff Boycott lost the bet on the last test, so he lost his "shart", cartooned as "shirt". Awesome one Mr. Satish. :)

@MalikAnasAhmad > that is Geoff Boycott. He had bet that if England lose to Pakistan in the second test, he'll sell his house. of course, he didnt really do that after the match .... :)
